I apologise again for the use of the word.
It was mentioned previously to me and I should have remembered.
Nothing is meant by it, clearly I mean "he is an idiot, he is making ridiculous decisions with poor logical founding"
However i manifested it into a word that encompassed that to me. However, clearly this is a public forum and my own views need to be tempered.
Like i explained in an earlier post, i think this was after three very quick drinks. It does not excuse it, but may help to explain.

No problem
I just wanted to give an alternative viewpoint of the use of language on here sometimes, and how it can be perceived by different people
Happy Xmas.

Turns out, Ben the idiot. Has got some 'game'.
He went downstairs as his car was going to have a ticket, took his chips with him because he doesn't trust the cardroom.
He has got a ticket and the game misses him. For a few minutes we are going over how unlikely it is he will return. Then he does.. With AVENGEANCE!
He has made close to every pot £22 pre on the £1/2 table, he's betting pot, pot, pot with air and bluffs.
He's crushed the 'regs' for over £1k in 15mins and they are reeling.
I've topped up to the max which is half his stack at 1800, puts me into the game for just over a bag.
I started at 1pm yesterday.. And this injection of money and adrenalin in the game is quite a wakeup.
Fi ally find a decent starting hand in JJ and he folds!!! Wtf!
Gl me this is going 4way.

Found a

Would've been nice to have Ben find tp that time.. It'd be a certain full double up.
This game just got amazing.

Happy Xmas.
Thank you, sir. I am always open to advice and genuine feedback or criticism.
I for one have loved the advent calendar, im sorry you've received so much stick for it. I think I understand both sides of the majority of the arguments.. I do however, hope that in the new year you are able to look back on the experience more fondly than you are at the moment.

Whereas Tighty's point is completely valid (I dislike the word as well and have used it very seldomly in my life) you actually cost yourself money by thinking "this guy is an idiot" "this dolt in seat 3" etc because you're showing your opponents disrespect and whereas it's fine to consider someone a poor poker player, or dislike them personally when you're playing against them you really MUST respect the fact that they are there, sat with chips and cards and playing. We waste our thoughts thinking "this guys a fucking moron" "I'm going to get this idiot's money" and we're not thinking about how we're going to beat them, you give them some of the advantage we have over them back.
Classic example, you got annoyed because the "idiot" tried to trap you even though you'd just had AK everyhand, you are too busy considering how much a fecking moron he is and not paying attention to how he's playing and you end up getting A3s in against his QQ so regardless of how much of an idiot you think he is he got the better of you in that hand you're clearly a better poker player but you got arrogant and he (inadvertently) used that against you.

Still playing from yesterday at 1pm. All the way thru.
And this game just got good.
Found dem KK's and tried to limp/raise Ben to see if I can induce something. We're so deep he will let his ego take over im sure of it. He apparently had KQ and didn't feel like it.
I did make it 112 from his 12 and over a caller. Im pretty sure if I make it 65 he peels but so many people are trying to get into ots with him that I future it goes 3 or 4 ways.
Then found AK vs 55 aipf for a bowl and ranout J8J88
Need some more pairs pls.

Think im going to pop in for food at my mums, or I'll get shot.
Not sure I feel too festive or up for big family, smoochy gatherings. The cold brutality of living alone again, after the fun dies down.
Im going to need an hours kip or something before I drive back tonight.
BEN LEFT.
with most but not all of it.

I'm holding my own in this newly deep slightly reggy 1/2 (playing like 1/3 or 2/5) game.
completely level.
Was up 800 at my highest, haven't bluffed more than £50 once or twice all session, but missed a few value bets by making them too big.
Had a little runbad, some small pot rungood but still feeling ok.
Need a break in a bit.

An epiphany for me was that the guy knocking it in for £1k a night having a great time is clearly not an idiot. He has a decent amount of success somewhere in his life, whether this be drug dealing (Doncaster), working offshore on £1k a day (Teesside), or the unknown Londoner who has a watch that shames most rappers on his wrist. Always remember this is our profession/hobby and a big part of our life, some people play for different reasons. <3 rec players.
Your an animal, sick sessions.

I've been asked to leave.
I had a sneaky nap in the toilet, which turns out wasn't as sneaky as I thought. As everyone else notices a toilet stall closed for over am hour and one of the louder players not being around.. (esp the 'guy' with all the 100x £1 chips in his place)
A casino manager turned up and nicked on the door. My reindeer antler wearing 25 hour session is now coming to a close as they request I make a nusance of myself elsewhere...
If I were a true degen the. I would just get a tube to the empire and rock on.
However, I am not.
So im getting my bag, a glass of water and my little profit. And gong to go home.
I've run a little under ev I think overall, but to play 25 hours of varying difficulties of table and come out in the green I've beat the rake, the players and myself and my own spewy tendancies.
Its been emotional.
Peace
