You would have better luck getting shit out of a rocking horse than me folding a flopped flush in live poker.

When the 'nit' checks so early he checks out of turn.. then backraises all in.. and you snap off a non picture card flush...?

you probably give money back to the game.

needs setting to music

I just dont understand whats happened to poker!

you have and three diamonds came, then someone went all in for £125 (62 big blinds) and he has to have a big flush - has live NLHE changed so much since i played properly but in the games i used to play I would be fucking loving my life if I had an 8high flush there, but everyone on blonde wants to fold these hands all the time.

I know its all about his range not the actual rank of our hand etc but sometimes you just gotta take your medicine and make them show you a better hand.

Lets get this straight.

Vs 98% of Nlhe opponents I'm fistpump, calling mum, texting pleno, skyping justinsayne, whatsapping goulder, pm'ing titty and hugging Lonoray as we throw the chippies in the middle, asking for a "hold...."

But vs xxxx xxxxxxx I am almost certainly beat here.  He just call, call, calls with worse flushes.. and sets.

The only reason he gets aggressive in this spot on this board, is for protection of his big flush.  He explained to me after the hand, he expects me to be rofling about (apparently i do that) and that he actually wants the 'other player' in the hand to be calling off here.  He obv doesn't mind me calling but we still got a tank tank tank fold from the 3rd player in the hand, and he had  .

I wish I could go back and fold every time I hero called, and call every time i hero folded.

Feels good to own somebody now and again with a sick bit of play, but feels better to use the money you woulda saved every time you slide that ace high call into the muck on hookers and blow.

Read this over and over. Except replace hookers and blow with whatever the fuck you want to spend money on.

THE AIM ISN'T TO BE A HERO, THE AIM IS TO MAKE MONEY.

On the 6b/f

"I had kq so I have blockers to all of your good hands"

"I just knew you were air balling from the first action you made, was obv from my pov"

Hour later

"I had 94 suited thought it was a good spot"

Tilting speeches, berating of every player in the game, 100 decibel broadcasted thought processes, reasoning for any, every and all chip movements and 90 second decisions EVERY 5 hands, JB sure knows how to bring drama/entertainment to a 1/1 game.

Cheesy

Every game needs some JB once in a while

I think "life of John Black" a bit like "life of Ivey" would be great tv.

the 'thinking time' is ool, I take my time and still call or raise sometimes.. So its not like its a hollywood fold everytime.

The speaches and discussing things is generally thinking things thru in a friendly game with people I talk to about poker.
And its ONLY the last two days I've not been great for the banter and taking care of the game.

Meh watevs.
