got to the Vic at 11 and its mental here! The entire room is full like I've never seen it, cash tables everywhere and lists for <2/5 of 30 or more.

Finally get a seat though and see a most unpleasant lineup in the form of a bunch of older guys with £50each and two asians trying to buy in for less.
Left there and took the empty Tuesday on a much better looking game.. Second hand get JJ and go 3ways 852cc, cbet, call, for fun and take it down.

Next hand a straddle is on and we find AA in SB.  raise the two limps to 23, get one caller, the bigstack..
Flop the sweat-tastic AQ7r . Cbet and take it down.

Then as I type this I lost AJ vs 66 on J68 for £50. Meh.

Oh and just bust QQ which limp/called pre, I checked back A2 on 652, turn a 2, call a lead and vbet a 3.

because of how busy it was I had my name on the 1/1, 1/2, 1/3 lists.. I was happy on the 1/2 but got the call and decided to look at the 1/3.

I might be wrong but on first impressions it looks like its the Jesus seat so I've decided to sit down.

We're going to be playing a little cautious but just taken our first pot with J10cc UTG after raising pre, cbetting and shutting down on Q10xAx. Won it 3ways on the river. Smiley

Just had an annoying hand where we got bluffed.

open 55, get one call behind MP, and one call the other side of me.

10h

check, I check, check behind..

3o, check, I check, bet 55, fold, I call. With the intention on calling most non heart rivers, possibly not on 3/6/10's.

River
10d
I check, he bets 105... I just thought he wouldn't go for a bluff this small.
Fold, he shows 74o.

Eugh.... I had the right feeling Ott, shoulda stayed with it.

This 1/3 game really is good....

But that does mean some multiway, bullet dodging tactics needed.  There was one young guy who seemed pretty competent, think I've played vs him before. But he left after I flopped a flush 5way and raised his cbet. Unfortunately I did not get any action, but I felt he would be stronger when cbetting into 4 of us, so thought raising QJss on 9xxss was the best plan.

Then just lost a smallish one with KK UTG where AK flats behind me pre (ffs) and I cbet, call, call and lose to 102 on 10xxhh2o Xo where the loose-ish maniac next to me calls in the deuce before it comes and like in a previous hand (where he showed a bluff) he then bet small on two streets, I didn't see a point in raising him. meh.

Tried a bluff in a spot I thought was good... Unfortunately the maniac used some level 10 logic I hadn't thought of to find a call
"I dont think you would bet AK here so I must he good..."

Call. You're good.

Sigh.

Lol.

Morale is still high.

Trying.. Had a mental European guy here for a while. He was waiting for a 5/10 and sat in our game bacause I said for him to, there wasn't a seat so I asked a guy I know called 'sammie' to stand up and let him play over..

He did and the guy sat down.. Proceeded to wake the game up bigstyle! His first pot ur raise/calls OOP Q2o and donk, donkshoves KJx 10.
Lol the other guy had called AQ on the flop thinking it was good, but OTT he doesn't care.He snaps the all in and the mental guy finds the A for the chop.

WELCOME TO THE GAME!!!

I turn proceeded to run a little sour vs this guy, losing 77 vs A3 aipf/ AQ vs K3 on A310 and something else...

Meh.. Won a few small ones and had AA and KK beaten by small two pairs for small pots.

Down a chunk and the guy next to me (maniac) from earlier, has turned out to be pretty decent, and has managed to felt or close to it most of the table.. Practically killing the game.

Sigh...

Deserves it, he's played well and made some big calls.

It was a shame to lose in that game, but tbh the bluff was unneccessary... It was almost exactly like the hand that brought me to blonde.. The Q10 vs AK of Mr Stato_1 himself.

I had applied poor logic to a situation my opponent had already thought out.. And I backdoored a get there.

In this pot the guy raise/ calls A7o OOP cos he's a hero.. Then cc down on an A66x x runout because he thinks id check the river with AK.. Lol. No, I wouldn't.

Anyways, yet another reminder that we beat live games by bluff catching and value betting.

I have a couple of days in London so ill be alright..

It was reassuring though to see how weak a 1/3 lineup was...

I was one of the stronger players, with the guy to my right (the maniac turned 'dece' player) possibly pipping me in 'live' terms.  By that I mean I think he probably doesn't play as solid fundamental poker as I do but he clearly has live tekkers.

He also made a lot of pairs...

So first day as a lol live pro.

Im in London for a few days, then home for a couple and back for a couple next week.

So as a live pro does, I had a continental breakfast, picked up and oyster card (£35) and decided to head to a Leicester square casino for the walkby trade.

Arrived at the hippo, find the poker room - the poker lift is broken so I had to find the main one.
Get to the table, sit down and buy le button.
I find an A and a K.

I made a mistake and bought in for the max, but with a raise and call in front and a fun looking guy being the raiser thru decided a preflop raise was in order.
£60 to go boys..
Flatter by both.
Cheesy
<3 live poker.

We have and see a Jxx flop all diamondes.

We bet/call the flop and are against AJcc for the sweats.

We do not make a hand better than AK high but turn a 10 for additional outs.

That was fun.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Next have and le button ensures a pre flop call with vs the previous guy and his chatty drunken bartender friend.
We go four ways and find a
Two Diamonds board...

Hmmm..... Not a bad second hand.

Pablo cbets and bartender thinks about raising then calls.. I put in le raise and get a call.. And a fold.

He even tells me "I have the same hand you had bro..."

Ok that's .. Sweet, no diamond pls.

Turn

Check, "I would like to wager all of my betting discs pls" and I put in 22.
"huh? so the bet is 22??"

"no sir the bet is all in."

"I cannot fold this man, not to you..."
"No problem Pablo, I hope you hit a diamond..."

River
2o

And we do a hold for all our monies back and a little change.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Third hand
Raise call x vs Pablo for £60 and he has K10cc.

Cheesy

We do not hold.

Love live poker.

Well a development in progress... A guy called Peter has sat down, he's a 6ft4 bald American guy who the table say is big money for the game...
We have struck up a friendship already and he definitely seems amazing for the game.

We have one tight reg who I've met before.. Other than that a table full of fun and a good game!

Let the games commence.

I make it £75 and both call

One with  three clubs
The other one just folded, but is believed to have held  ...

Sounds good David.

Having fun, chatting but we've lost two players, one where Peter stacks Pablo and the other where I stack a guy with my AJ getting there vs KQ on AJ10.

Cheesy

Just lost a small one vs this really nice Indian guy next to me when I 3bt pre with KQ vs Pete from SB, get insta-snapped by Indian dude and I cbet/give up hu on Axx.  He turns up with AJo.

Eugh...

I am le sickest.

Just had the following vs Peter the American.

open KQo, he peels SB, hu.

Q9xr
check, I cbet 25>40 he check raises.. I "sigh" then call.

Turn
Brick

He bets 125, I take a little while and slide in the call...

River
Brick  (I literally dont even know the turn or river, I was so focused on Peter)

He checks and I insta-snap all in for £545 into the £450ish pot.  He has 345ish...

He tanks and tanks and tanks and eventually comes to the conclusion I hope he does and pits me on J10.

He slides in the money and says "you win" as I declare and open KQ.  He still says you win as the dealer scoops the pot and still has his cards as mine are mucked and vanished...
He then asks "so have I lost the hand, where is the KQ?"

At which point im thinking he is about to ask for the pot as my hand has been mucked....

But nothing happened, he folded, tapped the table and his morale was hit... For about 1 hand.

Cheesy

Great guy and were doing well now!

In other news lost a small one with AK vs A7dd on AQxdd

He turns a 7. Tongue
