Sounds like you had a good night out, way too much excitement for an old bloke like me, I found my way to the Vic instead, bust the tourney before the 1st break and found a really fun £1/£1 table.
Seven and a half hours flew past at a win rate of £45ph

Lost a small-ish one vs a guy who's trying to be a pro, but being quite classless and rude to the table..
(I know, I know)
But he decides to limp/call AKo UTG (winning play bro)
we have 10's otb and open over a couple of limps.
QJx dd
Check, check, check...
10 brings two hearts
check, check, I bet 25, he raises 100, fold... Tankkkkkkk cawl.
At this point I figure he has a good hand.. Never QQ/ JJ, so its AK/ 89/ QJ type hands...
Plan was to just get lots of value on pairups and to re-evaluate based on rover read/ sizing. I know by tanking he thinks I have pair+ draw type hands...
He checks... Fml, he has a straight and wants to limit dmg by cc, or has a weak value hand that can't withstand a raise. I consider making an enormous bet and repping the backdoored hearts. I think without any blockers its tough.. Ots the first difficult spot vs this guy and I can't rely on him to fold, so I decide to bet an amount I can get called by worse and never spazz bluff raised.
I bet 115, and he sigh/ snaps....
With AKo (no hearts).... Lol WP bro.
He said after the hand he never expected me to have a set and would only consider folding on hearts.. Shame I couldn't pairup... He bet/ calls for sure.
Anyways, I know river could be thin... But I really wouldn't be surprised to see any one/ two pair hand here...
Whatcha think?

Currently discussing the state of TL900's virginity..
I had +0.5, you had -0.5 fwiw.
Might pop down empire in a bit to rail. I would say lets grab food, but I've already eaten and I don't want to take more money off you in food flips.

Seems like he played the hand abs perfect postflop, not sure why he's getting the JB "WP bro" treatment. And preflop can never be a "losing" play btw.

He is never bet calling on a paired river
when he check called hearts
I got into how head and completely convinced him I had pair + hearts by bet/ tanking the turn.
He absolutely does not think I have a house on pairups.. I checked back flop so I dont have QJ/ QQ/ JJ in his head, which means only 1010 and in his head id snap call the turn. Trust me when I tell you 90% he bet/ sigh/ tank calls pairups.

I dont think limp/ calling oop vs me when super deep is a good way to get money in.
It keeps us deep, oop, and learns nothing of my range.
Postflop, when he limp/ calls pre I think he has to play it like he did, but if im considering bluff shoving over a rover cbet when he probably doesn't have many flushes then making a good bet/ call has to be better.
Part of me calling turn is to consider all options on lots of rivers.
Could I do anything different ?
