OK as a fairly long term lurker now simply because I have never really had anything of value to add, the time might have come that I have noticed possible value not yet put up.

If it is not value then obviously feel free to ignore as despite tradition being 1st rec gets backed I am not overly proud to have this subject as my bet.

Lolbrokes have a name & gender forecast market for the royal baby  scared and are 4/6 for A-M & Girl.  Given that it's now 1/2 best price for a girl and that the top 3 names in the market all come before M, is this almost 4/6 on it being a girl and therefore a good bet?  Please feel free to shoot me down, if only for trawling such silly markets.

Sorry, it is terrible.

On those odds, chance of a girl = 67%
Chance of a girl and A to M = 60%

For this to be value you have to believe A-M is a greater than a 90% chance (60/67).  Whatever the chance is, it isn't ever greater than 90%.

Pete, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  I think you would also need to believe that 1/2 is a fair/genuine price also.  Shoot me down also

Lovely.

Two quarterbacks in the first two picks. Won't get another one for at least another twenty picks. Hopefully, New Orleans or someone around there decides to gamble.

Great shout, well done.

Hopefully they won't be too long, as I'm yawning already, and don't know if I can make it to the end of R1...

Nice one.

The Theophane fight is a real tight one going into the tenth and final round.

Theopane was bossing the final round and was all set for 10-9 to probably seal the fight but got knocked down with 15 secs to go. That should be a 10-8 final round in favour of Montes.
