That's not quite enough as Theophane wins a split dec 96-93 x2 and 93-96.

No more quarterbacks on the first round. Two in the first two and then thirty consecutive bricks. Staniel James announce record profits.

I think Theophane was more than a little fortunate to get that. The knockdown should have sealed the deal, without the knockdown the two Theophane cards would have been 98-92 which would have been a nonsense given how close the fight was.

Well done on the NFL Draft stuff guys, (Tighty & Tal, I think?), 2 out of 3, only the speculative 6/1 failed, & over £100 profit overall.

Was mightily relieved that the £225 bet got home, that was scary stuff.

Dante Fowler is a shy, retiring type.

He chose a pair of shoes with red soles, to matchc the crimson trim of his suit.

Oh. And they have jewels and gold in them. Christian Louboutin, no less.

After being drafted third, Fowler will be playing for Jacksonville and that means he'll be coming to Wembley. If he wears that suit, he won't look out of place:

Fred has £39.75 with me

Tony, do you still use account number ending 932?

Details are from a fair few years ago I think

Morning Dan,

Sorry, I never even realised you had placed a bet for us, thank you. (Just checked back, & you did the Darts "any draw" bet).

Yes, the Bank Account number has not changed. Amazingly, it's been the same since 1982, 33 years, yikes.

Settlement Day

If Fred owes you money for bets placed in April, please let me know & I'll settle up.

Dan Morgan did one, but that's being sorted.

Further bets were placed by, I think.....

Mark Porter (possibly from existing positive balance?)

Marky (loads of them)

Tal (one loser I think).

So if I owe for these, let me know for how much, & I'll sort it.

If you have a small balance in my favour (Mark Porter, & others), please hold onto it, it may come in useful later.

As far as I can see, sonour never placed any for us this month, but if I'm mistaken, let me know.

This was the second most profitable month ever for the thread, beaten only by £1,087.60 in March 2013.
In that month there were 157 bets placed for a total of £4,106.53 and an ROI of 26.48% so this month compares favourably in terms of ROI.
Congratulations everyone.

Thanks Mere.

Four headlines particularly caught my eye there.

Over £1,000 profit, our 2nd best month ever, (best ever on ROI I think).

34 unique tipsters in the month.

3 new tipsters in the month.

But most of all, over a sample size of 4,596 bets, that ROI is, all things considered (Restrictions, the nature of the thread & the need/wish to balance some fun amongst the serious stuff) a stunning achievement.

4.64%

Well done everyone, & thank you.

Tighty,

Think there is a dead bet still on the Spready - Barnet v Gateshead last Saturday was a loser.

I have settled up Mark Porter & Gok Swan.

Just awaiting THE BIG ONE now, from Marky, dread to think how much he's gonna want. This might be the right time to spring the grim.
