Also think Derby are a crazy price at home to Charlton - how can they be 8/15 shots when the season has just started and they were unconvincing at Bolton (Bolton peppered the crossbar). Throw in their end to last season, Hughes picked up an injury and Charlton looked full of beans in beating QPR and there have to worse 6-1 pokes than the boys in red! (Edit: 7-1 with tote)

Toure scores. (Sort of).
Top goal scorer, anyone?
Pretty sure someone suggested it last week, maybe it was dung?
Two for Toure now.
Doesn't look like the bet went on anyway Tikay, nevermind.
I'll try not be too smug if he rattles in 25 goals this season

I should have put it on, whether the majority agreed with it or not, because it was your first suggested bet but things went a bit awry in the last week, my eye has been off the ball

Can I suggest a cheeky one? Noticed a couple of RWC top tryscorers but didn't see any flyers. Agulla and Imhoff (who scored a hattrick against SA) for Argentina are 250/1 and 200/1 paying five places at Dontbetfred.
Have to assume the majority of tries will be scored in the group games, although they could quite reasonably make the semis. And with the exception of NZ they have a fairly easy group and are a really decent team these days who play some good open running rugby. They won't be grinding out forward pack wins against Georgia and Namibia I wouldn't have thought.
Have I missed something here Tighty?

Juan Imhoff is an interesting one. I never realised how good his scoring record is. 25 in 67 for Racing Metro and 16 in 28 for Argentina. Definitely worth an each way flutter in my eyes at 200/1.

That's unfortunate, as a new tipster you would have got an auto bet for first time, probably missed accidentally.
Edit as Tighty has already mentioned

argentina look like they'd need to get past ireland in the quarters. not impossible of course but a significant barrier to reaching the semis which is what you need to secure the seventh game that a top try scorer will probably need to place in this?
agreed about the group, and argentina's style
anyway, its a first bet

Eek. Gl us. Sorry for burning a tenner there Mr Kendall.
You're probably right about needing seven games. Maybe more important you play in the easy group games though than reach the semis. Also am hoping/expecting Argentina less likely to rotate their squad than others.

Yes Alun, but we'll have some fun with it.
Keep us updated, please, that's part of the fun, & it eases Tighty's workload.
Pardon me asking, but are Wales in it?
