hi mcglashan ive watched all of jamies bouts, seems decent but a level below Isaac. will wait and see if we can get odds

Okay, it sounds like a breakout fight designed to make Isaac look good. Is he still with Peter Fury?

hes not with peter any more, hes back with bob howard

Where I grew up your money spoke.  There seems to be a lot of people in life and on blonde who chirp but don't back their view up with money,  i would suggest they are the guys with huge egos. Talk is very cheap I back up my talk with real cash. But a lot of people say I have a massive ego,  why don't all the other Heros back up their talk with real cash?

The oldest saying in the book is true, it's not bragging if you back it up. So why won't anyone bet against me?

I'll have the 500 arb. Happy for me to send post game? Just about scrapes bet fair. Hopefully any ev I'm giving you is made up in glorious boasting. Be warned.

Lol. Is this booked?

Arb might have been on the Stella but i can confirm that Adams been on the vino. Grin
fwiw i'd rather side with Arb and expect Weds to be >3/1 come game time.

Right we are open again after some surgery to posts overnight

What tikay and I would like to see is

- bets proposed and explained as to angle and value

- discussion of those bets

- a fun and friendly thread

once again, we have no interested in

- petty arguments

- snide comments

- people feeling intimidated to post ideas lest they get pilloried for not wanting to stump up this month's mortgage payment in a private bet on Womens Lacrosse (Division 3, Philadelphia)

- anyone feeling that because they have a good ROI that they can drape a flag of rampant narcissism over themselves and ride roughshod over the rest of us. This has happened twice in the past month now.

I hope that is clear.

can we narrow it down please? (not sure i have the patience to do £2 each on 24 players to win £100 for the thread)

I like Koepka i must say. Going to break through in a big one soon (said the same about Lowry, backed him last few majors for no return as he was finishing Top 10 at chambers bay, not on him at Bridgestone. )

4 rounds under 70 at firestone to finish T6th, 68 on the final day at st andrews to finish top 10 , so has recent form and links form. hits it a long way.

but i am only a casual golf watcher. say what i see through an amateur's eyes rather than any edge at all.

Don't mind Koepka but the price has gone a bit.

Soren Kjeldsen has only played in the PGA once before I think and placed 5th, if he is actually 400-1, he is still value at 350-1 6 places with Joke Oral - £1 ew?

reminder to self

for when i am back in range of betting accounts. i am not currently

I think we've got to back Stenson as well.  He has a very good record in the US PGA (he missed the cut at whistling straits but 2010 was the start of his dark period).

28-1 6 places is just about the same as 25-1 seven places, so £10 ew with Bald?

Total Stake: £4.00

  thumbs up

Any chance of a side thread with running list of open bets? For those of us who can't wade through the studmuffins and wind-up merchants in the thread each day to find them.

Had one before but it doubled the workload.

On another note although it's not ideal having Arguements in a betting thread, however arbboy's blowup yesterday was one of the funniest things I've witnessed in a long time, anyone who took that seriously needs to lighten up, how can you not see the funny side to a guy with a big ego taking offence to a thread that ask's do successful gamblers have big ego's, in fact Arb probably had done his Horlicks at Hall Green in the morning and needed to prove to himself that he is still Charlie big potato by offering to fight anyone who wouldn't take his +ev bets. (Or something to that affect anyway). After that episode I think I've fallen in love with Arbboy, The King is dead, long live the King.

Think Arb mentioned Arsenal potentially being overbet early this season - they are at Palace on Sunday and are 4/6.   Didn't think they'd be odds on for this fixture.  Thoughts on Palace at 4-1?
