Derby looked really undercooked last night - Bent and Martin looked really sluggish.  They made a number of changes but the team still featured at various stages Martin/Bent/Weimann/Shackell/Russell/Ince/Thorne/Kendrick so hardly the reserves.   I think we should oppose them at short odds at home to Charlton on Saturday.  Charlton positives given yesterday.

Suggest laying Derby on betfair £30 exposure at 11/20.

Suggest also £5 at 6-1 on an away win.

last two winners t5 and t6 as well.  T6 just hosed up in the last race by half the track.

Arb do you ever trade Spin's "Banana" markets when you identify an inside or outside bias at the dogs meeting?  Could be profitable I imagine.

I have only ever had one spread bet in my life in 1998 with hillsindex and it went badly wrong!!!  I have never had an account since!  The banana market is very swingy isn't it?  combo tricasts in each race multiplied?

Yeah very swingy.  Actually a better one for what you identify would be "Barking Mad" which is just the 1st and 2nd numbers multiplied so between 2 and 30 per race.  The Bananas one is annoying when you are long because 5 and 6 hose up and then the 1 dog sneaks in third to ruin the bonanza!

Unfortunately I very rarely play that market.  Might try it next time you spot a trend though!

It's a proper sick bet for degen's.  Wonder what kind of action they book on that on a normal morning bags meeting?

The flip side is when t4 wins, like the last race, but 5 and 6 run on for the places that you still get the max 120 payout even though neither wide won the race.  Swings and roundabouts.

Next race sheff is hcap so the 5 and 6 dogs aren't necessarily wides just for everyone's information.  Wouldn't be backing 5 and 6 blind here.  t6 is actually a railer (t5 mid runner) when they run in non hcap races.

t6 is probably a lay here tbh.  Lot of wagons will just be following the bias not realising this is a railer in t6 in a hcap.

265 combo.  Not a bad return for the banana boys given the circumstances.

624 in the last.  t6 in the last race was 2-37 in the grade lifetime which kinda shows the strength of the bias there today.  All the fun over now.  Off to romford and crayford down sarfffffffffff for the afternoon.
