BAGS track championship.  Last leg of Newcastle's group starts in 20 minutes at Doncaster's meeting on the evening dogs.  Should be a formality to get Newcastle into the final for our ante post bets.

2.8 for saints at home with a first team out there (apart from injured fonte) doesnt look like a first 11 for liverpool to me but that holds the people playing for places

Newcastle sailed through to the final with races to spare tonight.

Good evening all,

NFL wise:

I'm keen on Green Bay this Thursday @ Detroit, the line currently seems to be moving for Detroit. GB with Rodgers have a tremendous record in games they really need and this fits that category, He's basically still the best and seems to find enough to get it done. I can't decide whether we should hold out for possibly as big as  Evs -2.5 or take the 5/6 currently on offer. Interested in peoples views as always. Hopefully we can get a bet on for Fred.

watching this

i expexct you don't want to take -3 10/11?

Good evening Tighty,

Shall we try getting £80 on with Coral? I'm less certain about how the line will go than I was but -2.5 at 17/20 looks OK. I'd of course appreciate hearing your views on the game, apologies again for those dumb things I said few weeks back.

Haven't written this one up for our site as it's a touch late but I think there is some value in backing Rickie Fowler to beat Hideki Matsuyama over 72 holes with Coral.

6th in the world Fowler is a 12/1 shot on betfair and generally and is an excellent links golfer with a superb short game. He didn't quite contend on his last start at the HSBC but did finish 17th so isn't completely out of form. He made the short hop over to the Bahamas on Sunday evening.

14th in the world Matsuyama is a 15/1 shot on betfair, 14s generally, and withdrew with a foot/ankle issue at the HSBC when languishing in the bottom 5 of the leaderboard. He did play last week and finished 2nd in a low grade event on the Japanese Tour that he won last year. He's travelling distance is obviously much greater as a result.

The course is described as linksy and Fowler's links record is excellent with two Open top and a win at the Scottish Open. Matsuyama has a 6th placed Open finish but nothing else to write home about.

Surprisingly, Fowler is the underdog of the two. Recommend £40 at Evs with Coral.

Tournament is the Hero World Challenge.

Fern shone tonight in the Jungle.

Most of them look jaded, worn out, and fed up.

Vicki still strong, but Fern buzzing and showed real guts to do that challenge. Bloody python wound itself round her neck, and still stayed there, fair play!

4-1 for a first two place 1/4 odds looks like a freeroll to me.

Anyone agree?

Forget it. The went as I was writing it.

Prices are up for the Ladbroke at Ascot.

Winner Masagot was very impressive on his seasonal debut last month, even when needing the run.

Don't see the 10-1 lasting very long this morning, if you can.
