Thoughts on this please.....
Norris tournament average is 95.54, Webster's is 91.5.
Bwin price Norris up at 11/10 to have highest match average. Even though Webster is favourite for the match, conceivably Norris can win this and still lose the match due to Webby's consistent finishing. MvG comfortably beat Barney on the averages and we all know how that ended!
I think it's a good spot at odds against and the reasoning is solid enough. Webster never bangs the door down averagewise due to mediocre scoring but is Wade like on 20s and 10s... and Norris is a 180 machine. Can easily see something like a 4-2 Webster with very tight averages and a fair few missed doubles from Chuck.
Cheers mate, I fully agree. I've gone back in.

Do we have hills account?
If so, I recommend £50 on under 40.5 180s tonight at 2.0. Line way too high imo with three of the 6 players not exactly renowned for 180 hitting.

It is incredible you can back them coupled still at the same price as Barney is. Both can win it because they can score heavy. I think Wright is a bit too big tonight. I would have him a slightly shorter fav than he is for the match tonight.
Taylor is too short but has had/still has the draw from heaven up to the Semi's if he gets there. I can't have Taylor on my mind for this at the prices.

On the darts stuff generally, as i don't follow it that closely it would be great if people explicitly said if they want stuff to go on. plenty being discussed but its tricky to pick through.
unfortunately we can't use bwin, which seems a good place to have for the PDC Worlds

finally, how big a shock was MVG losing last night in an overall sporting context?
i saw £1.1m was matched on him at 1.1 and below for the match

Not that big a shock pre game. 1/6 shots get beat every day. It was more of a shock that he averaged 106 and 43% on the doubles and lost. It is pretty hard to do that combined and lose tbh.

ok so several of you have mentioned backing Smith to beat RVB next time out.
let down factor etc Smith talented etc
is that a bet TfT should be having, or are we just chattering for now?

Will put one up for Romford tonight, not sure what accounts are live (don't think you have B365, but possibly BFSB?)
8.50 Romford, Trap 4 - Valencia Vinny.
Better class than these on the downgrade after a tough last couple of races. All the other dogs race vs each other most weeks and beat each other, this dog is a better dog and has a chance tonight, was expecting opening show of around 7/4-2/1, 3/1 at either 365 or BFSB is worth bullseye.

where is the value now?
the winner of chisnall/wright, our two ante post plays, has a serious shot at going deep in it now?
At the prices i think Barney/Wade and Taylor are far too short. Barney should be a dog against Smith imo in the next round. He reacted like he had won the title when he beat MVG and will be mentally drained. Smith is a future world champion in waiting and i think he could actually win it this year tbh.
Whatever nonsense wade/Bristow keep coming out with Wade simply cannot average 100+ scores consistently and, therefore, can't win the worlds imo in an era where there are so many ton+ consistent guys. Wade has literally beat 3 pub players to get here. It is hard to believe how badly Newton has regressed. Doesn't he watch videos of his games and realise he is leaning at 45 degrees when throwing his darts and that his style might be a reason why he is averaging 75 in games now having been in the prem league a few years ago. Wade seems to run so good over the years with draws to get deep into events when he really isn't top class. Virtually all his 'major' wins were when someone else took care of Taylor in the other half of the draw. He is very similar to John Part in this way and has run way ahead of ev in terms of titles etc compared to his talent level. He has averaged 92 93 and 95 in his 3 games so far. Hills opened 8/15 Anderson to beat Wade. This was obviously quickly hoovered because it was just a redic price. 4/9 now is still too big for me. Ando will need a monster melt down doubles wise to not gag up in this game.
I pretty much agree with all of that. I was surprised at Anderson's price v Wade.

Got a dream draw as well either side of 2 kippers. As soon as it leads it has won. Maybe from the boxes. Certainly couldn't lay it at 3/1. Agree with a lumpy bet on this at 3/1.

Anyone that can...
Alan Curtis next Swansea manager, 3-1 and 11-4 with PP, Lads and Coral.
From what was just shown on SSN it seems more than likely that he's staying at the helm for the time being, and he's already had four games in charge.
