I know it's early but I think we should be having a bet on the 2017 PDC Worlds. Daryl Gurney improved massively in the last 3 months of last year. He made the final of the Players and the 4-1 reverse against Anderson at the worlds was a lot closer than the score line suggests. He seems to have kicked on from there and reached the final of the Dutch Dart Masters at the weekend. Along the way he beat Wright 6-4 with a 105 ave and Lewis 6-4 with a 106 ave and 9 180s. He still lacks the consistency of the top players but on his day he is a massive scorer and looks to be on the upgrade. Recommend £5 EW at 200/1 ( there's some 250/1 out there but no good for Fred).
Fred can have £5 e/w at 250 (with Mr.S James)....if he wants.
ok well take that please and the other one off-thread
booked

Betfair SB are standout 11/10 MVG most 180s vs Lewis. Maximums/leg are 0.375 for MVG and 0.294 for Lewis.
Rec £100 if you can get it

pardew 20/1 to be next fired.
hasn't won in 9.
fans seem to be turning.
next games (feb/march):
spurs (a)
wba (a)
Sunderland (a)
liverpool (h)
man utd (a)
leister (h)
if he wins none of these matches (he won't be favourite in any of the matches) then that would be 15 games without a win, has any manager ever managed this?
Warnock was given 16 games and sacked for winning only 3 of them, Pards has 4 wins in his last 18.
The double wing threat returns on Saturday with Bolasie and probably changes everything. However we may have a new problem with Ledley and McCarthur out in midfield.
I think Pardew will be afforded loads of patience as long as we don't become embroiled in a relegation battle and even then we only need 6 points (probably) from 12 games to be safe. 3 points in the next 6 prem games gives him a buffer and should definitely be achievable with Bolasie back.
The best time to do this bet would be early doors into the next two prem games. If Bolasie can't turn around the sinking ship, then it becomes more viable, the price would have reduced but the value increased with our trump card stalling.
If we don't buy tricky winger cover in the summer then I will be perplexed. It has put us in the mire currently.

Tighty,
I believe Billy is 6/5 on this bet if you want to top up.
EDIT : ignore - he is 6/5 against Thornton not Lewis. Apologies.

Don't think there's any chance that Ladbrokes would take a bet like this today.

Boro away at the dirties tonight in the championship.
On a bit of a rough trot of late, but I think today turns it round.
New signings Rhodes and Ramirez have had another week to get settled in, and Rhodes opened his account last week for the club.
Leeds were described by their local paper as toothless in attack and capable of calamity in defence, and I can see Boro being well up for this one, it's as close to a derby as we get, and a win pushes us further clear of Burnley in 3rd.
I think all this will lead to a boro win.
There will be a big of emotion attached to the game too. Local commentator Ali Brownlee passed away last night. He was well loved by all the boro squad, and the fans will be well up for it tonight, giving the team an extra push to go for the win. (Yes I really think this could be a factor)
Recommend £25 on boro to beat Leeds. Over evens seems a good price to me.

No wins in 5 and i think the usual question we ask in these spots is would you back the 11/10 away team at 4/7 at home here, as thats what the away price is telling you?
you might, but i would appreciate opinions

I am a Leeds fan.
The only thing I can contribute to this is the following opinion: We are shit.
We have generally done better at home vs the bigger and better teams but to be honest thats probably just variance and a load of bollocks.

Are the Leeds fans banned from their stadium tonight? Looks empty!
