Buick isn't the danger and quite clearly the 4th fav In the jockey championship unless you use the betfred quote as a guide. I think even chompy had atzeni as the threat not 4th fav Buick.

15 days for calling the officials corrupt seems pretty light to me.

Amazing game 7 in the NBA!

Tremendous spectacle. USA do sport so well.

LeBron is just a beast to watch, too.

Amazing game 7 in the NBA!

Head coach sobbing uncontrollably is a little daft.

Could you imagine Bill Nicholson doing that?

No, pretty much average.

I've backed a few for small stakes at big prices. KT Kim, Andrew Johnston, Jon Rahm, Aaron Wise.

Just looked at the last Oakmont Open. Hard to believe the first round leader was Nick Dougherty. Must have been the beginning of the end!

Bubba was up there all the way, as were Furyk, Casey and Rose, of those names still competing. The winning score was +5. That sort of score has me instantly thinking its Speith territory. Hardly exciting, but I am still convinced will just blow one of these away one day.

Even winning at 16-1 for me has probably just about made him a non loser in my majors P&L.

Could be the making of him now though.

Leading Everyone In Everything

LeBron James is the first player in NBA history in any series of any length -- regardless of round -- to lead outright or tie for the lead among all players from both teams in points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks for an entire series.

LeBron James in 2016 NBA Finals

Points   208   1st
Rebounds   79   1st
Assists   62   1st
Steals     18   1st
Blocks   16   1st

Pretty incredible stat this is.  Hats off to Lebron.  Really wanted them to lose in some way's just so he could still win the MVP award on a losing side.  Curry took some terrible shots last night.  Pressure definitely has got to him last 3 games.  Will be interesting to see how he bounces back next year.  The Cav's certainly exploited his weakness's defensively and his lack of size and strength.

I've not managed to watch any of the finals but I'm stunned the cavs managed to come back and win the championship. There's something about Lebron I just don't like, but bloody hell he's a machine on the court.

He gets a lot of bad press with people constantly saying he isn't as good as Jordan etc.  The trouble is he can score nearly as well as MJ, rebound nearly as well as Karl Malone and pass the ball nearly as well as Magic Johnson.  All whilst being 6'8'' and weighed 250 lbs.  A true physical freak of nature given his all around skill set.  None of those players could do ALL the things LBJ can do to the level he can do them to.  He is the ultimate jack of all trades and master of none for me.

Thanks for the Cavs bet Arb. I really though we were just in it for the place money. The win was a real bonus.

Apparently, easyjet doesn't do flights from Oakland direct to Cleveland, so the Cavs had to do a stop over.

XS nightclub in the Wynn last night in Las Vegas:

It is reported they drank Don Julio 1942 tequila, Belvedere vodka and Moët et Chandon champagne. Not being funny and I know the prices in these clubs are simply insane, but could they not have purchased some better quality alcohol?

Perhaps they'd run out of Aftershock, WKD Blue and Liebfraumilch?

Never in doubt with your golden money on board Mrs B!   Even at 3-1 down.  Assume you topped up at 20/1 after game 4?

Cavs huddle at the taxi rank at McCarron...

"We'll go to XS"
"You serious? Have you seen the prices in that place?"
"What? It's like 25 bucks to get in, dude!"
"No, costs way more if you want a table"
"Yeah, LeBron. It's a 1k minimum spend per head for a table and like 10 each for a good one"
"Serious?"
"Yeah."
"Well I want the best table in the house"
"That's probably like 25k each."
"King, I got like 200 bucks on me"
"Kyrie?! What's the matter with you?!"
"I didn't expect we'd win. Have you seen Steph play?!"
"What about the rest of you?"
[Awkward silence]
"Jeez. Ok guys, I'll pay but I am not carrying a huge bill. We will have the nicest table but we will budget to the minimum spend"
"Wow, you really are the greatest"
"I know. I know."
"Let's have a look at the drinks menu. What can I get for three quarters of a million dollars..? Ok. I've worked it out. Is everyone ok drinking Moe-ay?"
"Er...LeBron? It's pronounced Mo-ette"
"What? It's French?"
"Yeah but it's pronounced Mo-ette"
"I can't believe you've brought two hundred bucks out with you and you're trying to correct me on my pronunciation."
"Sorry, King"
"That's OK. Thompson, beer me."
"Sure thing, King. Carling or Bud Light?"
"Sigh..."
