Handball.
Denmark 18 Norway 19
Deep in the second half.
Sky ch464
Nice that they put a microphone in when the coaches are talking to the players.
Think I've picked up the Danish for "Stay on your feet", "It's a marathon, not a sprint", "Don't try and walk it in", "No silly mistakes" and the inevitable "Phwoarrrr look at their left back!"
It's deep insight like that that turns into big winning tips.
Keep up the good work.
Ja anfører
Google translate says: "yes indicates".
I believe in sport it's Captain, unless the skipper was arguing about her drive in to the stadium...
That's the trouble with learning Danish from Handball timeouts, I suppose.

Guptill is being sick on the pitch in the test
he is currently 11-8 to be next man out which offers a bit of value despite his partner not looking the strongest

Tonight I learned how to play kings without leaving the couch. Thank you, Tikay. (Check out TightEnd's updates if you haven't had the pleasure)

Saturday afternoon USA v Russia. This game will be a very good barometer of how good this USA side is. Tough game for sure, but if USA come out on top, I think our bet goes Nicky Henderson. Match odds see Evs available for USA and 10/11 Russia. I have perhaps been a bit too keen and gone in for some of the evens too.
Poland played USA and beat them 3-0 at the start of July in the World League. USA looked horrible, Poland looked mad for it. Russia came nowhere. Fast forward a month, Bulgaria dicked Poland, Poland looked like they didn't want to be on court. USA dicked Brazil. Brazil beat Russia 3-0.
Not quite sure how to interpret all of that, but I'm practising a verse of the star spangled banner anyway...

Good morning.
Having been offline almost all of yesterday, I'm not quite sure what is what, & I've just got out of bed after a fearfully late night.
The Reports will be Posted shortly, & any un-actioned bets looked at, & sorted if need be.
Got to try & work out what bets we had yesterday first......

god knows why i keep doing this but here goes
this isnt so much my opinion more of a glaring rick imo
ryan mcgowan bet365 goalscoring
reasoning :-
played the second half of last season as an attacking right back
has played three pre season games two of which as a number 10 behind a lone striker, hearts only have one senior fit striker
http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/hearts-boss-john-mcglynn-thinks-1166902
suggests the manager seems quite set on him playing there for at least a few games.
suggest a £10 outlay £3.5 first scorer 33-1
£3.5 anytime 14-1
£3 two or more goals 125-1
hearts vs st johnstone

For the sake of a tenner Banzai, I'll do that shortly without waiting for other opinions, a £10 fun sweat will go down nicely.

Daily Report, as @ 11.30, Saturday August 4th
As I was unavailable most of yesterday, I may have missed some stuff, but as far as I can tell, we had two bets which came to completion yesterday.
Doobsy put up a really brave Murray bet, it was a real thriller apparently, nip & tuck, but it got home for us, top man Doobs, thank you.
In Greyhounds, scotty gave us 2 dogs in the Puppy Derby (Wimbledon), & one of them, Lenson Champ, failed to final, so that cost us a whopping £15.
However, he also gave us Whittle Murtag for the same event, & Whittle made the Final, so that's terific news. He is generally 3/1 now, we have £15 win @ 12/1.
http://www.oddschecker.com/greyhounds/ante-post-dogs/wimbledon-puppy-derby
As an aside, scotty also gave us 3 dogs for the Irish Derby, 2 of which remain in. Of those two, Tyrur Big Mike is now 25/1, & we are on at 50/1, (though only £5), so that's pretty good I'd say.

In the Olympics, Norway safely made it through to the Quarter Finals, though it was another close run thing. These Handball games all seem so very tight. Exciting stuff to watch, too.

What's coming up?
No idea, truth to tell, missing a day is a nightmare, but as far as I know.....
Golf continues, the Bridgestone Invitational. We have Fowler & Mahan this week. I don't think there is a "cut" for this, so technically, both bets are still live. Mahan is 17 shots behind the leader, & Fowler 21 shots behind. There are still 2 days to go though......
To save you searching, probavbly easiest if you read this from the bottom up....
http://www.worldgolfchampionships.com/leaderboards/current/r476/index.html
Olympics. The Athletics continues, the 100m heats are today, we have Gatlin @ 25/1.
In Olympic Basketball, we have £40 @ 13/2 on Brazil for a top 3 finish. I've no idea what is what here, but the betting suggests we may have value, I think they are around 5/2 for a top 3 place now. Not sure when the next Basketball games are. For "not sure", read "no idea".
In the Medal Table, we have a bet that we will finish 3rd or better, we got 2/1. The bet remains Live, I believe.
In Womens Handball, we have £40 @ 7/4 on Norway, who are currently about that price.
http://www.oddschecker.com/olympics/handball/womens/winner
Boxing - we have £25 on Tom Stalker @ 6/1. I think he fights tonight. He is now generally 9/2.
http://www.oddschecker.com/olympics/boxing/mens/light-welterweight/winner
I think thats us for today, though I have some stuff still to action, which will be next.
Glorious
Goodwood features the Stewards Cup today, where they go 10/1 the field. Good luck finding the winner of that.
The 2nd Test continues, but Fred has no monetary interest.
Olympics continue, of course.
Oh, & sneaking in quietly, Football is back, the Scottish Premier League starts today, with Celtic v Aberdeen live on TV. Don't think we should do any serious football stuff until the Olympics are over though.
