Forgive my ignorance, George groves is 1/25 to win his fight tonight yet he's odds against to win by knockout. I'd have assumed someone that short would be knocking him out, no?
It's a good question to ask as last time we mentioned him in the thread he was a hyped puncher at 6/4 to KO Badou Jack and 11/4 for a points win. Tonight's KO price closed at evens so was probably a bit shorter than what you were looking at yet with questions over his gas tank I fancy Groves to be conservative down the stretch.

i am away today but hopefully tikay is around. if not no worries, please put saturday ideas up for general use/brags and sweats
i note that racing punters have the thrills of heavy ground at Haydock to contend with, good luck!

Hi Doobs, my initial thought was Sivananco looks big price at 15/2
Seems about right to me. Horse is a bit up and down and is probably on the slide. But this may be its target, guess they won't want to bottom Cue Card on heavy ground if it looks like getting beat. Long season and all that. I have just done the 7/4 with Hills because I think I still get the offer. Think this and a lot of the card is just for watching today.
Would have loved to have got Irish Cavalier with 3 places.

Heading down the M1 to Watford?
If so, enjoy.
Rumour reaches me that Karabiner is heading north, to Old Trafford.

The William hill offer
If I'm reading it correctly, only applies now if the winner wins by 5 lengths+ right?
If race is won less than 5 lengths neither offer will apply
Still good?

If your coming down to the Watford game Tighty let me know, would be good to buy you a beer pre-match (may have to find a neutral venue though!)

2.25 Haydock is down to 13 runners and Betfair are paying 4 1/4!
Was originally on Unowhatimeanharry but declared a NR this morning
Westren Warrior has done well on Soft/Heavy in the past but has gone a little short to 7.5 on BFSB, the exchange has him at 7.8 but the 4 and a 1/4 makes the place terms very good.
Any opinions? Fred can have £25 e/w with me with BFSB!! If anyone else thinks there's value here

I had no idea it had changed.
I haven't really got much of an idea how often races are won by more than 5 lengths, but suspect races like this are going to be more likely than handicaps. Heavy ground is going to make distances bigger too.
My intstinct is this must be generally worse than the previous offer, but today's race will likely be as good as any for the offer. Assuming we get the 6 runners anyway.
Edit b365 are 2/1 cue card and 18/1 Irish Cavalier. They were both beating bf just now. And will get BOG on top too. Crazy.

Looks fantastic to me. I can't see the ts and cs on my mobile, but it still shows as quarter first 4.
Edit. Sportsbook laid me 20 each way which was a pleasant surprise. They normally limit me to 10% of that or less. Will probably find that I am on at fifth first 2 now!
