Digress away John it's absolutely fine, not to mention enlightening for those of us who aren't nearly as up to date as you are re. international football.

Jack Ross going to Sunderland it seems, very promising coach.
Massive challenge obviously not sure I am as confident with him as I would be with Wilder.

Ffs, got 20-1 about him becoming next Ipswich manager.
Hurst was going to Sunderland and Ross to Ipswich. Now it's all turned round. Fumming here.

Looking at the Golden Ball market https://www.oddschecker.com/football/world-cup/golden-ball-best-player-awardStating the obvious but this usually goes to an attacking player/forward. The market is well are of this A few I am mildly interested in at bigger prices but for now anyone with a SKY account must be backing Messi at 12s and Neymar at 14s , obviously way out of line and no brainers at this stage.

General opinion up here is wondering why a young manager on such an upward path would go to what seems a basket case in Sunderland. New owner, getting rid of Martin Bain might be a good sign from Sunderland though & Ross made his name in Scotland taking over a team half way through the season when bottom of the table, seeing them comfortably safe, then winning the league by a good margin the following season. Could be a good match with him seemingly able to turn round players who have been seriously underachieving.

I've been hugely impressed by Ross, whoever gets him is getting an excellent coach and man manager who deals with the media very well. I believe he has the potential to be a future Celtic manager, I hope he makes the right choice.

Will all depend if he can clear the toxic factors in the dressing room, find it hard to believe he will plenty have tried despite how promising he is.
If he can start completely afresh he has a better chance

Earlier in the week I said lets hold fire on the Belmont stakes until nearer the time Things have changed the field now looks likely to be eight possibly nine maximum https://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing/ante-post-racing/international/belmont-stakes/winnerAs you can see some firms have reacted some have not, good magic does not as do all the horses connected to triple crown contender Justify. I like VINO ROSSO with any of the firms that are still holding the 20/1. Never went a yard in the Durbee but plugged on willingly enough missed the preakness so comes here fresh and is bred for this trip when lots of the others ala tenfold are not. suggest £25 each way with any firm still 20/1 by time this read (happy to take 16s min) think this is a 10s/12 shot come the week of the race.

Sounds like the rantings of a player who regrets choosing Jose's Real Madrid after having been courted by all the top European sides. A penchant for German automobiles over Italian supercars drops hints towards his nationality. For a sad sad PL story I'd begin looking towards the Emirates Stadium and Mesut Ozil.
