Also two bets with the Irish. Johnson 40/1 for Geneva and Delbonis 66/1 for Lyon are bets.

Johnson is no slouch on clay with a title on clay this year in Houston. Didn't look too bad at all this week in Rome and simply too long here.

Delbonis a clay specialist and in the opposite half of the draw to big favourite Thiem who may suffer from the motivation issues mentioned in the previous post. only 1/3 odds for each way in Lyon so bet on the nose if that offends you, but still feel you gotta bet it ew because the value comes from Thiem being 5/4 in the other half. Delbonis very strong on the clay tournaments at challenger level. This is the kind of ATP tournament where he can go deep and has done before. they say South American clay courter struggle in European tournaments but he has an ATP title in Marrakech (which is almost in Europe!) and a bunch of European Challenger titles (the next level down from this tournament)

Delbonis 18/1 best, no pp prices https://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/atp-lyon/winner

no win market up for Geneva at all https://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/atp-geneva

Markets and prices are still there on paddy and BFSB for anyone who wants a bet. I remember someone saying don't link directly to bookmaker markets from this thread so I haven't. Oddschecker seems a bit behind these days sometimes.

thank you

our green friends declined my kind offer to bet with them at an amount more than £1

Morning all.

Shout-outs to horsey for that big-priced place - you've still got it, John - & Bergeroo for the excellent double on the fighty things.

Oh, & to Marky McMark for getting me on horsey's horse, followed by the superb grim potential. One way & another, Marky costs me fortunes in Vegas, he boks me to bits every time he shows his face. Do me a favour this year Marky - stay away.

Finally, well done Tighty's Road to Riches, who, many months ago, stuck up Chelsea to win the FA Cup @ 6/1. I can't recall what his logic was, but like Doobs, Tighty's bets are all about logic. That column, & B-E generally, is great value, it really is.

No worries 4k

365 have already gone up for the last leg of the crown the belmont.

Will probably be a deeper field but despite burning the snides fingers last night good magic is big at 6/1 ran on worst part of track last night and still held every chance

No rush to get involved yet

Time for some World Cup nibbles?

Top scorer E/W darts and a couple of names jump out at me; Isco and David Silva.

Spain have a nice group. Portugal are no pushovers but Iran and Morocco should be the whipping boys. They also have the luxury of being paired with Group A (Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Uruguay) for the knockouts, so coming 1st or 2nd doesn't really matter too much.

Assuming all goes to plan, they will probably come up against France or Argentina in the QFs, but by then there shouldn't be any 'easy' games anyway.

Isco tends to flank Morata or Costa (whoever gets the nod, though neither are in particularly great scoring form this season), playing in a very advance position. Seems to enjoy international football more than club football judging by his comments from March (''The matches with the national team give me life. Here I have the confidence of the coach'')

Despite his off pitch problems, Silva has had an amazing season for City. He's chipped in with more goals than any other season bar 14/15. Will operate in a similar position for Spain as he does for City. Not prolific by any means but has started to find the net more for Spain in recent years and averages around a goal every 3 games for them. Obv his son finally leaving hospital after 5 months must be a huge weight off his mind, and this will be his last WC, so it feels he's due a big competition and is coming off an incred year as his platform.

4 goals will often be enough to place in these comps.

Isco 66/1
Silva 100/1

I also feel Silva is excellent value at 33/1 for POTT (his recent personal situation perhaps favouring him should he have a good tournament)

nice double landed at 16 and a half to one for anyone who bet this.

UFC Liverpool next Sunday. The main event should be quite special. Britains best chance for a UFC title a the moment Darren Till is fighting. I'd say if he wins this, one more win and he'll have a title shot.

A nice double for UFC Chile tomorrow with 888/unibet. I know Fred can't be with these bookies but maybe someone else might want to get on if they can.

Lee to win by decision - 8 points/ £40. 5/2
First is in a womens fight. Ladies fights go to decisions quite often, mostly because of a lack of power of the fighters relative to male fighters.
Andrea Lee is a big favourite for this fight and I expect her to win. Lee is a good kickboxer, strong in the clinch, but has also had success through wrestling so far in her career. I expect her to dominate the fight and take a decision. Hopefully her opponent Veronica Macedo can hang in there through three rounds. Basically these two firms have the submission victory too short for Lee, so that makes a decision win a bet imo.

Reyes by KO/TKO - 4/1 £30/6 points
Cannonier vs Reyes should be a brawl and it is favoured to finish inside the distance. It is a step up for Reyes and will show if he is the real deal. It should be a great fight and the one I'm looking forward to most on the card. Reyes is 8-0, with 5 via TKO/KO and two by submission and one via decision. Reyes can wrestle but I expect a stoppage to more likely via strikes rather than a submission. Cannonier is strong and can definitely win too and it could be a close fight but once again, these firms have the submission victory too short for Reyes.

Great shout.

Didn't see the Reyes fight, but watched Lee, and thought she was very good.

Apparently the UK has not renewed Roman Abramovic's visa so he's going to have to go back to Mother Russia.

I wonder what effect this might have on CFC.

Not renewed yet, and he's already in Russia.

Doubt it will have much, unless he has to take the club with him Grin

Morata left out of the squad. Who will start up top? Costa, Rodrigo or Aspas?

Don't think it is so cut and dried. Rodrigo probably had a better season than Costa, has a bunch of clubs sniffing around him.

Presume Costa is fit I would back 1/4 with no issues, Costa been very good certainly got Antoine playing a lot better

Lets see! Spain reserves who didn't make the squad could probably have a shot of winning the World Cup to be fair!
