Stale price of 90/1 on Konta with unibat. She just took down Nottingham. Best elsewhere is 40/1. Got no insight into this in terms of value, just see the the disparity with the rest of the market

It is a big outlier, but until this week, it felt like she had been bang out of form since at least the start of Covid.  I don't even think she was in great form this week; a couple of matches were a struggle and she was clear top seed.  I'll be cheering her on, but won't be taking the price.  Think they could palp you and stop your account, and don't think it is worth it for that price.

Katie Boulter was looking good before her injury FWIW.  Given she started so short against Watson, I don't think there will be much value going forward from backing her either.  I can definitely see her pulling off a shock against a higher seed, assuming she isn't going to drop out of Wimbledon with an injury.

If they call offering 90s when 45s are the best price elsewhere a palp then we might as well stop betting now, right?

I would imagine unibet just employ a part time work experience kid as their tennis trader and instead just let oeople bet a fiver.

Stan James used to be first up with tennis prices 20 years ago alongside Interwetten.com.  not obv Unibet sadly.   Can't for the life of me remember the head of tennis in that era but there were arbs all over the place.   Remember Costa winning the french open and stan being 1/5 him in his first round match at wimbledon and 365 were 5/6 each of two!   Stan must have laid chunks of the 3/1-7/2 tthe other side given how long they stood it.

The worst ever queen's club tennis event in my lifetime this week.   Shocking how poor the standard has become in this event over the last decade.

Its a weird one. But yeah, very weak and wide open. The French moving back one week has clearly harmed the field, plus a lot of players have chosen to play in Germany. Maybe it was easier to travel there from France or the promoters topped up their pay days?

It's not covid related the gradual decline of queens has happened over the past few years.   Used to be like a masters 1000 series evennt quality wise.   Nothing of the sort now.

Halle got upgraded a few years ago, so that has harmed it.  I think that has caused much of the decline.  Covid, French Open and Brexit all don't help.  I think tennis players must be a bit daft, as why play the stronger Halle tournament when prize money is similar?

Still, gives Jack Draper a chance to shine.

Away from the headline betting events the floor events continue on the pdc tour in MK today.   Draw has been made (which is a big edge as the firms don't move off the draw) event starts at 2pm today.  One day event which will be finished by 8pm tonight fwiw.  Jose de sousa at 14/1 looks too big to me.   Lovely soft draw to the last 8.   Gets a bye in the first round to the l64 as two players have failed covid tests and he banged in a 127 average yesterday to set a new pdc record.   Ticks all the boxes.

£50 ew at 14/1 with denise and stanjames is fine.   £30 ew at 12/1 with hills is fine.  Bald actually seem to be the only firm to actually move off the draw and they are bottom at 10/1.

Bloody hell, if only I'd seen the bet sooner. Well done though, keep them coming.

Nothing myself, as no accounts. I hope you got the lot. Great shout, Mark!
