Beautifully presented summary Mr Mere, thank you.
I think, given the way you have laid that out, I'll go for both.
Will get to work shortly, thank you, assuming we have any shillings left in the piggy bank.
I'll do yesterdays Update first, though, as I would prefer not to incluide that bet in yesterday's numbers. One or two a day suits just nicely.
Thanks but I'm a bit worried that you're choosing your bets based on presentation skills!

Almost true - it does help me - & the Pros - if a proper case for the bet is made, imo.
Anyway, I need one of yours to go badly south, so we can give you the ChipRich treatment.

The Excuse File....
An incredible night of swings, swongs, & swungs on the football.
We could have won or lost all three, everything was in doubt until the final whistles, but we lost 2-1 on the three bets.
Liverpool looked home & hosed - unlucky Fraser! - Blackpool were ahead but failed to hold, but Man City came from behind & got home, welcome to the winners circle Mr Dazzler.
A later NBA bet went awry, too, after a blitz by the oppo late in the 2nd quarter.
We have a horse (shout it out, Prince Monolulu style) running this afternoon at a big price, 17/2 I think. Needs to run a big race, we are on the slide this week.
I'll post the Camel & Mere bets later, after I have invested.
Barnet play tomorrow, we could use that one going for us.
I will be unavailable for degen purposes from 5pm until Miidnight this evening, I have to work tonight. Normal service resumes tomorrow, & I am off work all weekend.

probably wont last long this price so hope you can get on
FLORIO VINCITORE 14-1 VC BET (im happy to take anything above 8-1) for my max eway bet 2.30 wolverhampton tommorow
reasoning
moved from a pretty poor yard to one of better all weather / any yards
got a good draw
this is a fairly big rise in class but the horse has more than shown ability for its previous stable, when you also consider its been ridden by two very low percentage jockeys for most of its career then there should be improvement there as well
This is a decent race for the grade but these owners dont tend to mess about and i expect some pretty big improvement tommorow
Currently a best priced 11/1, though a couple go as low as 7/1, including BetVictor. I moved the market.

it is a competitive race tikay
the price you have taken is about right imo with the doubts chompy quite rightly expressed (this is a good race distance query e.t.c) the 14-1 last night was just silly

Over 22300 views. Guess there is not only you enjoying this Tikay
Good spot, not so bad in 50 or so days, giving a daily click-rate of around 450, which is quite good for the Betting Board I would think.
I was in Grosvenor Luton last night & half the room were telling me they read it, most of whom are not Members. Yet.
Tremendous fun, & I've loved every day of it. Takes a little work each morning, but well worth the effort.
I was hoping we might nick a few bob one month, even if only £500 or a grand, & we could buy ourselves a little A8 grader (greyhound) to have some fun with, but that looks optimistic right now, we can barely afford the bunny.
Great thread, Dewi.

Cricket
New Zealand v South Africa 3rd Test
South Africa to win at

on Sporting Bet
http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/new-zealand-v-south-africa/new-zealand-v-south-africa-tests/new-zealand-v-south-africa-
[3rd-test]/winner
Sporting Bet seem out of line with all the other bookies who seem to vary from 1.67 to 1.8 for South Africa.
Pros:
SA have a vastly superior team.
SA thumped NZ in the 2nd Test.
The pitch is forecast to offer something for both (good) batsmen and bowlers.
Cons:
NZ are likely to pick a stronger batting line-up than in the first two tests.
There may be rain during the match (although nothing heavy is forecast).
http://www.metservice.com/towns-cities/wellington
Another good (probably better) bet is South African top bowler where you can get
Vernon Philander at 5/2
on several sites. This market is for the bowler who takes most wickets for his team in the first innings. Philander has been a winner for this bet in both the first two test and took ten wickets in total in the 2nd test.
It's really a two horse race between him and Dale Steyn (also available at 5/2) but I favour Philander and those odds seem very favourable for a slightly better than evens shot in my eyes.
Bully-off is at 9:30pm tonight.
If you're just looking to take one bet, go with Philander for best bowler.

I hope this bet loses.
But I'm certain it's value.
£100 Sunderland to beat QPR at Evs with Bet365
Rangers will be physically and emotionally shot after tonight's heroics.
It is almost the perfect let down spot. An unfancied team makes a huge comeback and then faces a long road trip versus a strong home team.
Sunderland were poor on Tuesday but that came very soon after an important cup tie.
Since Martin O'Neill took over, Sunderlands home form has been immense. They've beaten Man City, Arsenal (in the cup) and Liverpool.
O'Neill will not stand for another performance of the quality of Tuesday's defeat at Blackburn.
Evens is huge.
I hope this bet loses.

Do you think there is a big chance Sunderland will have half a team out with a cup replay next midweek being their biggest game. Everton could do the same away at Swansea too.
There is certainly a chance of this imo. It might be wise to wait and see lineups first. If Sunderland put out full strength, I agree that evens looks big.
I also think I will have a small bet on Wigan away at Liverpool @ 8/1 draw no bet with Bet365
.
Wigan have been pretty decent in their last couple of games, Pool are dire and with a home record of 5 wins, 8 draws and 1 defeat they cannot be backed with any confidence. Added to that their league season is over and they are still in the FA Cup whilst Wigan are fighting for their premiership lives.
As Pool have drawn more than half their home games, the DNB is a very decent saver. Also Wigan do tend to pull out one or two very surprisingly good results every season. And Wigans away form is actually better than their home form this season.
Home: 1 win, 7 draws, 7 defeats. Away: 3 wins, 3 draws, 8 defeats.
Any comments on this, please?

Ugly, sorry chaps. So weird, I watched a stream of the game and NO were winning 57-51 and going along nicely. The stream broke, I tried to fix it for five mins, gave up and looked up the score and they were seven down. Thought it was a mistake but apparently GS went on a 20-5 run at the very moment the stream broke and that was the beginning of the end. Every time I back a game, someone has a career night in the opposition, happened again, sigh
Maanged to see tip last night so keep em coming as am on am official martingale to get out. NBA only thing I run bad on

Yep NBA is a heartbreaker..... lost a big 5 fold the other night on 1 game by half a point..especially when theres 15 secs to go and they just walk up the floor to run the clock out ...there were almost tears...

Always always always check and back @ best price.
http://sports.betfair.com/Index.do?mi=105151638&ex=1&origin=MRL
atm the ROI from all the bets in this thread have been -8%. Taking 9 when you could take 11 (minus comm.), or taking 3.75 when you could take 3.8 like yesterday is like voluntarily posting a third blind in poker, completely unnecessary and massively costly!
Appreciated, thank you.
I have not placed the 'Pool Wigan bet yet (awaiting further comment), & I would not know how to convert "back" or "lay" on Betfair into the traditional price with DNB which was recommended.
My personal circumstances mean I do not always have time to open new Accounts if I am busy at work, or, as last night, in the middle of a cash game, I just have to get the best I can in the time available.
Gradually, I am getting the new accounts sorted - I have about 14 of the damn things now. Once I have all the accounts open, it will be easier.
