We are contacting you today to advise that a business decision has been taken by our Senior Traders and I must inform you that betting Account Number ****** has now been closed and no further business may be executed on your behalf.
I'll take that bet!
Sure you will Victor. The last bet you laid me a few coppers, then even shortened it on me in the process of accepting it and restricting it further.
Do their senior traders actually spend any time trading?

They spend plenty of time rejecting trades, that's for sure

Senior traders at VC spend a lot of time eating meat and potato pasties and filling out their placepots for Lingfield from what i remember of working there!!!

I'm sure Bopara is getting picked for England as some kind of Trading Places style bet.

not his fault
Really a very odd selection, out of nick - palpably so - and no match practice so he's thrown into the must win game
Bresnan bowls well the last game and bats and is replaced by Dernbach who has been hittable all tournament
Just confused and muddled selection, I am afraid.

A Mendis 9
Malinga 7
with 4 wickets to take today, and now that Sri Lanka have qualified the possibility of two more games
We have another sweat.

T20WC Report
A frustrating day as I lose £60 on the first match, which achieves a parsimonious 30 boundaries due to a WI batting collapse (-£100 running on the tournament)
Intending to go for the double on the second game if the first comes in, it then achieves 37 boundaries, and over 12 sixes as Sri Lanka score 170 and Samit Patel hits 63
Sigh
Still, Malinga takes 5 wickets to be only 1 behind Ajantha Mendis as Sri Lanka move to the Semi's in Colombo
We have a live bet in what is now a two horse race in the SL top wicket-taker market
Tomorrow in Colombo the four teams battle to join Sri Lanka and West Indies in the semis
All four teams can qualify
Australia play Pakistan
We need the unlikely combination of a Watson failure (Kohli being 51 runs behind Watson in the top runscorer rankings) and Australia to continue hitting sixes(they being joint top in the sixes market-team, going into this round of matches)
http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/international/twenty20-world-cup/australia-v-pakistan/winner
India play South Africa
A Kohli 50+ would be great
http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/international/twenty20-world-cup/india-v-south-africa/winner
We want Australia and India to go through
With £102 bet ante-post three of the four bets are very live, the exception being Dilshan sixes, where he has only 4 sixes through 5 matches, some 8 behind Watson, Gayle and the leaders

Less time wasting money on Paul Kaye in adverts Victor, more time taking bets ta. Tossers.
Wow.
That annoying tosser is Paul Kaye?
Dennis Pennis one of the funniest characters ever on tv.
Ever since he killed DP off, he has been deeply unfunny.

Careful, or Methuselah Minor will be on your case.
Paul Kaye is a gooner, proper job too, even writes a regular piece for the Arsenal match programme I believe.

I didn't know he was a gooner or who he was for that matter, (I can't recall Mr Pennis's oeuvre) but anyone who can get any money out of VC and supports my team can't be all bad.
Don't go Vic..

Unbelievable. You've never seen Mike Strutter. Or, much more recently, Mongrels.
Bookies not accepting people making bets because they are doing a better job than the price-setters is embarrassing. I can understand restricting the stake but are bookies really that worried about getting beaten these days?
