In the credit column, Kuku gave us a nice NFL bet on Eagles-Steelers (+£30), & reds gave us the Newc-Man Utd overs, for +£40. We needed those two results to mitigate an otherwise bad day, & weekend.

I would love to take credit for this bet but it was Monda.  I simply endorsed it.

So it was, my apologies to Raymondo. I now recall you came on later & endorsed it, &, I think, another semi-related bet.

I'll ask Mr Mere to amend the records, so that Mondy can get on the Honours Board for the first time ever.

Mondy tipped a winner, who'd have thunk?

I give the old fella a winner and in return get rub after rub, what a joker.

I said to back Man U as well, puh

Tikay - you miss the point.  Discussing X Factor betting is not about enjoying the X Factor.  It is about second guessing:

A) The voting patterns of the British public
B) The antics of the producers in shaping who does well and badly

The interaction of these factors is pretty fascinating in my opinion.  I don't really enjoy the show's performances, but every little comment from the judges happens for a reason as the powers that be try to shape their show.

I don't think I do, Mr Dung........

I enjoy a bet on most things, but if I ever get desperate enough to watch X-Factor just so that I can have a bet, I will know I have reached rock bottom, like the alcoholic who ends up drinking meths.

Stick the recommends up here, & I'll take your word that the bet is good, or ask our Pap & Tosh Corry, Chompy, for advice.

We are, of course, grateful for all tips.

Truly.....if you offered me £10,000 to watch the whole series of X-Factor, start to finish, & I was totally boracic, I could not do it.

Lol, I love you Ray.

You did tip Man U to win too, I recall, but we had a bad week, so we were keeping what remained of our powder nice & dry.

You coming down to the SPT 6-Max at DTD this weekend? 6-Max, 30,000 chips, nice clock & structure, £30,000 Guarantee.........

Whilst 6 max is very appealing, playing online means I can watch porn and don't have to speak to anyone.

Extra infor for the X Factor boys....that cruise ship stuff about the scouse guy came out after his audition on the first show, so not sure why he would get negative publicity this week after it was already in the tabloids and he still got the public to vote him in. Kye is bessie mates with Fearne Cotton and she is continually talking him up on her radio 1 show, must have some influence on voting compared to the ones noone can even put a name on

Another hard luck story from me.He averaged 10 points more tgan Walsh in the first set but managed to lose it but go on and win the match 2-1.Could have put up the win at 5/6 but thought the 11/4 was better value,it did go off @ 2/1 Sad

If your playing against Justin Pipe on a scale of 1 - 10 how likely are you to aim a dart at his head for the slow boy tactics?

I find it so frustrating as a viewer I would hate to be the guy that was playing against him.

I backed Whitlock for highest checkout @ 8/11 but he's up against it now i think.

"The bull...for The Bull...brilliant! No bull"

That's how you commentate if your name is John Gwynne.
