Sorry Mr T but it has to be a mug.

I had a smile to myself this morning. It seems I can't win with our celtic brethren. I get accused of being anti-Murray, then when I go against the Scarlets I am accused of being anti-Welsh rugby teams. Then I tip the Ospreys to win and another Welshie comes on and thinks I am mad to back them as he has seen them and says they are rubbish !

Why can't they all be like spacefrog, all the abuse about cheese eating surrender monkeys and not a peep from him. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could get him to post on here ?

I didn't think you were mad I think I said I would want more than 3/1 to back them having seen them last week and knowing their front row and line out problems. I'm not sure where you think I said they were rubbish, maybe my user name subliminally put that thought in your head. I do think they are massive under achievers though.

I was gutted I couldn't go, promised my mate I would take his boy to Cardiff City. First time they lost at home this season. I'm a Jonah.

Good luck with the Saracens bet from a Celtic follower.

I have always followed the Ospreys as a long while ago I played Rugby Netball with Ryan Jones when he was a student.

This was their previous home. You may not think this helps much, but there is a huge clue in this photo.

I don't even know who or what they are ? Ryan was best mates at uni with the son of a friend of mine and they bought a team up to London to play in the Rugby netball World Cup.

Okay, wondered if you had gone to or taught at Neath College. If you had you would have known at least one of those names.

I think the ground might be Roots Hall, Southend?

If so its a touch confusing as the "now" picture is about 15 years old before the open end had houses built behind it, and flats on top of it basically. So its not actually a "now" picture

I'm guessing by the funfair image from the "old" ground which implies resort/seaside

This is that huge open end as pictured earlier by tikay, now. Hence my confusion

I have to throw a few curve balls in or you get them straight away!

Yes, Roots Hall, & the previous ground was part of the Kursall Funfair thingie.

I was going to get you to name this ground, but you would never have got it in a thousand years.....Wink

I'll remind his Camel-ness, Mr Channing, bobby, redarmi or Chompy  when they are  next Online, they know these sort of things.
