One for Fred to bear in mind.

Brighton's fixture today was called off and they moved their Boxing Day fixture because of travel problems to their stadium.

So when they face Watford and even more so Ipswich on January 1st, they will incredibly fresh while for their opponents it will be their 3rd and 4th matches in the space of 7 / 10 days respectively.

Watford have a huge squad and will be able to rotate pretty well, so perhaps the match to look out for is the Ipswich clash as soon as the prices come out.

If anyone watched Raymond Verheijen (n the Footballers Football show) talking with scorn about the fixture congestion during Christmas period in England and how it adversely affects players performance, it will reinforce what a good spot this will be.

6/4+ will be a bet imo, if we can get 7/4+ it should be a max.

Doubt very much we will beat the 13/8 with Boylesports.

Suggest £80.

Watford's Boxing Day fixture was called off, so it won't be fatigue won't be a factor in that game.

Hi tikay

I think a good bet for you is bradford city to win league two this year  each way bet

The odds are 12/1 ATM  making 3/1 to finish in the top 3, giving us some profit if we finish 2nd. 3rd

Ok I am on my iPad on a train ATM so can't go into to much info but if you want to asked question feel free

We are 5th at the moment with 39 points  gillingham are top with 45 points, if we win out game in hand vs Wycombe we can go to 3rd place, the comfrence is high at the moment with the players playing really well and giving a never say die attitude

We have played all the teams in the top 4 away for home  only Rotherham gave us trouble 5-0 Sad.  We have beat port vale away drew with Southend

We have Rochdale at home tomorrow, we drew 0-0 at there place then we have 4 games that we should win in the middle we have a leg legged semi final vs villa

It's not secret that out budget this season was £1 million to get us out of league two we over spent that by about 600k this was made back from the arsenal game, we are set to make £1million from the semi finals and the chairman has said there is money in Jan so the manager can buy and bring in who he wants to get us out of league two, also it's been made clear that wells and Hanson are staying.

No team are running away with it this year gillingham lost to Barnet 1-0 at home on Boxing Day I really think the next 5 games are make or break

Thanks Bud.

Plenty of warmth for this, so we are on.

We have £25 EW (1/4 odds 1,2,3) with BetVictor, Bradford City to win League 2.

ON
League Two Winner 2012/13
Bradford City (EW)
(Outright)
Odds:  12/1
Stake:  50.00
Possible Return:  425.00

Fedderer 5/1 to win the Aussie open.

Back him ew 1/2 the odds with paddy power or boyles. Nadals pulled out and they havent adjusted their market yet.

He will be in the opposite side of the draw to Djokovic and Murray so 5/2 to make the final seems pretty good.

Rec £50 ew at 5/1 with paadys or boyles.

http://www.paddypower.com/bet/tennis/mens-australian-open?ev_oc_grp_ids=3309

Ok, I will ask the stupid question.  Why won't he face Murray?

seeds 1 and 3 are in separate sides of the draw to 2 and 4.

so djokovic and murray in same side of the draw, fedderer would have had to face nadal had he not pulled out.

Are we sure that's right, just that I alway though 1 played 4 and 2 played 3 in semis of any seeding system - surely Djok seeded one and faces Del Potro in semi with Fed v Murray
yes 1st seed usually plays 4th imo

I thought the OP just didn't seem correct, as why would the number 2 seed always get a better draw than 1.  Simple deduction shows that smashed again is unlikely to be right either. Wink

I have found an explanation here that seems plausible.

But a better proof may be that it isn't necessarily 2 vs 4 is that last year it was 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3.

The draw hasn't been made yet, but I think it seems safe to assume it is 50/50 he will face Murray.

It seems surprisingly difficult to google this, or I am just a buffoon with google tonight.

Ditto, I spent a good while on google, & ended up with the same link as you.

The Australian Open Website does not help at all.

I've learned something there, thought it was always 1v4 and 2v3 - that links seems to explain, although still a flip as Djok and Fed will be number one and two seeds.

On duty as we speak, & the sort of thing he excels at, but this is Mens Tennis, he is more of an expert on Ladies Tennis Draws. *

Note I typed "Draws" not "Drawers". Please.

Grand Slam tennis draws are unbiased.
This means that there is a 50/50 chance of seed 1 meeting either seed 3 or seed 4 in the semi-final (assuming they all progress that far).
