Not so happy Ruby looks like trying to steer Nicholls to running him in Stayers tho. Got a nice portfolio building on GC.

You do the riding Ruby and let PN make the decisions young man!! Grin

Is that because he has other rides available in the GC, or it might cause him some embarrassment if he were asked to make a choice between TD and another? Or simply because he genuinely thinks it would be better in the Stayers?

With his potential Stayers ride Zaidpour getting beat earlier, having TB in the race gives him a decent ride in each race. Having early season form beating Long Run makes S Conti look good, but I suspect he is not as robust as TB for a Gold Cup race.

Lets hope Mr Wylie, the owner has his say!

Fedderer 5/1 to win the Aussie open.

Back him ew 1/2 the odds with paddy power or boyles. Nadals pulled out and they havent adjusted their market yet.

He will be in the opposite side of the draw to Djokovic and Murray so 5/2 to make the final seems pretty good.

Rec £50 ew at 5/1 with paadys or boyles.

Thank you.

I got on this the moment you posted, but at the time, I was busy elsewhere. Since then, the price has moved to reflect Nadal's absence. Feels like a winner already!

We gave £50 EW @ 5/1 (1/2 1-2) with Paddy Power, Mr Roger Federer, to win the Australian Open.

You can still get 6.4 on Betfair.  You need to transfer funds to the Australian wallet first.  £250 or so up for grabs.

EDIT.  We are obviously not getting the place value here.

Ok, I will ask the stupid question.  Why won't he face Murray?

Grand Slam draws can put seed 1 in the same half as seed 3 or 4 can't they?

the only given is 1 and 2 will be in different halves so Federer might get Murray.

Any thoughts on Exeter V Bath tomorrow, Exeter not lost at home this season and Bath never beaten by Exeter.

seeds 1 and 3 are in separate sides of the draw to 2 and 4.

so djokovic and murray in same side of the draw, fedderer would have had to face nadal had he not pulled out.

Are we sure that's right, just that I alway though 1 played 4 and 2 played 3 in semis of any seeding system - surely Djok seeded one and faces Del Potro in semi with Fed v Murray
