God bless Phil Bull. He knows. Or he would if he were still amongst us.

Bobby Tambling is correct, & the "link" was to the photo of Frank Lampard scoring yesterday, edging him to within two of Tamblling's record haul for Chelsea.

The "diving" stuff was not connected, that was just a reference to 'Spurs Tom Baley.

He's one short of Kerry Dixon, 10 short of Tambling, without a new contract pretty unlikely he'll do it but a Chelsea Legend either way.

HNY.

Hope you all do a getttttt tmoro in the arrows.

With a growing list of unsettled ie ante post bets do you think you will have "cashflow" trouble in 2013 or is the bankroll only a nominal amount and can be topped up in this experiment?

Mere has set up the January spreadsheet.

If anyone wants an uncluttered view of our forward book of bets (cost, £1,093, value ?), now is the time to have a gander, before the sheet gets filled with the daily stuff.

It is shown in the Daily Report (above), but here it is again, for ease of reference.

Some time today, Mere will do his usual Monthly Report for us.

Morning Simon.

The 'roll is notional, & could be upped if we thought it worthwhile.

If we were making a fortune, I would, but as we only make a very small profit overall, I think, for now, we should not increase it. It is also yet to be decided if we will continue beyond January 31st, which will be the completion of 12 months of the experiment.

The "outstanding bets" figure of just over £1,000 is quite high, but has often hovered around that mark.

The 49-ers situation has increased the number by £250 of course, we have £82 of Football bets which mature today, & £160 comes off the sheet tonight when the Darts ends.

Fact is, there is some outstanding value in ante-post & long-term markets, some might say more than on regular football matches at even money. Perhaps we should do more ante-post stuff & less daily stuff.

I often look at the "forward" bets & wonder what their value is, if, for instance, we offered them to a buyer.

What am I offered for this stuning book of value which cost £1,093?

Bids below £25 will not be entertained.

Daily Report as at 1005, Tuesday January 1st

We made £15 profit yesterday. Oooohhhh.

Our 2 lairy rugby bets went south (-£25) but Tom rescued the day with an NBA Overs bet that got home hard-held (+£40).

BIG day today though.......

We already have £80 on Brighton to whop Ipswich @ 13/8, £42 on Palace to beat Wolves, & of course, tonight sees the climax of the MVG affair, where we have locked up a nice profit either way. Amazingly, despite the MVG bet, we could yet end the day in loss, or a hefty profit.

We shall see.
