I can't work out a sum to have on Villa here.
Keith, thought the 2-1 was value as if Villa win or score, Benteke usually has a hand in the goal or usually scored it. If there are no thoughts on this being a good bet/value, then I am off this bet.
To put it one way...I wouldn't want to be laying Villa at the market price but you can have as much as you want with me on the Benteke/Villa bet at that price  |

Not really looked into anytime/first goalscorer, so was why I thought it might have been a coup and probably because Hills have a price boost on it. Therefore I have been mislead into thinking there is any value whatsoever in that price, from what Mark says there is absolute Zero. I have therefore decided to put that amount that I was considering on Villa outright win.
Been thinking about the bet all day, see if we can come to some sort of conclusion in the next hour.

Even if it is 6-4 beteke and evens villa the double isnt as simple as 4-1. They are related because if Benteke does score then villa are better than evens to win at 1 nil up. I'm probably explaining it really terribly. 2-1 isn't appealing though...

I know it's not as simple as 4-1 hence the related contigency bit-thus a bet you could never get on. But it is worth knowing in regards the price of special bets like that. |

Master Benjamin, 2.50 Doncaster tomorrow, looks a nice each-way job @ 11-2 with Badblokes. There are 19 in at the moment, so you'd be unlucky not to have four places.
Like Nick Scholfield as a jockey but thought he overdid it on bad ground early last week.
Has anyone read Patrick Veitch's 'Enemy Number One'? Halfway through it at the moment and it's top banana so far.
Yes. Great read, thoroughly enjoyed it, but doesn't Veitch come across as a horrible person? Sort of bloke who spends half an hour looking at himself lovingly in the mirror every morning. Had vision in head of a young Bond baddie commanding his troops about whilst stroking his sausage...dog |
