Just posted this in another thread but wanted to draw attention to the regulars of this thread to it. 8/15 for Villa not to concede from a set piece tonight, found out this is a telephone only market with Bet365 but thought there might be some interest here as it seems very good value to me.

http://www.bet365.com/news/en/betting/press-releases/fa-cup---villa-set-to-go-to-pieces-in-the-lions-den

Thanks Biloxi, & welcome to the Thread, your first Post here I believe, though I've seen you in the Dastardly Nits Thread.

How did you come to use that weird alias - is there a tale behind it?

I have no idea if that bet is value or not, & Mr Bet365 will not accommodate me at the best of times, but maybe some other lads will fancy a bit.

Bit weird they offer a "Telephone Only" Market, given it is so costly to do telephone betting as opposed to Internet, which has a far lower cost base. Guess they have a cunning motive somewhere.

Cheers tikay, I'm not sure why it's telephone only but I've just had a small nibble at £30 myself. As for the alias it's a combination of two Gaslight Anthem songs, Biloxi Parish & Desire, I found that it was pretty much free everywhere I wanted to sign up to as it has no real meaning/makes any sense!

Biloxi, TGA is in that Biffy Clyro bracket of post-punk, long wet hair and tattoos that I find a bit too forgettable. TGA I'd put above Biffy, mind (I know there are some Biffy-lovers on these boards...). However, they did do this, which I'd put next to Kaiser Chiefs' version of Heard It Through The Grapevine in the musical faux-pas folder:

This is what happens Tony when someone who has the title compiler has to do something on their own these days.

PP list for the Superbowl MVP has loads of % in it but they quote Ray Lewis( a defender) of the Ravens at 9/1, he is top priced 10/1 elsewhere. PP have come up with alternative lists per position.

They have one list of 4/11 QB and 15/8 Any other position

They also have a list of 1/25 QB or RB and 17/2 any other position.

So back to the Ray Lewis price of 9/1, you can back him at that price to be MVP with PP. Or you can bet any other position than QB or RB at 17/2 with PP.

So Lewis at 9/1 or these players including Lewis at 17/2

Lewis
Crabtree
Davis
Torrrey Smith
Boldin
Jones
Pitta
Leach
Aldon Smith
Moss
Reed
Suggs
Justin Smith
Willis
Ginn

Plus every other obscure WR TE and special teams and D player in the game. Now some of those are not going to win it and QB and RB are clear favs but Crabtree ( a WR ) is 14/1 in their list too

So in their own list the most likely D player to win the MVP and the main WR for the 3 1/2 point favs are a combined 5/1 chance yet in the list underneath it on the same page you get 17/2 for every D player, WR, TE or special teams player.

The vision I have in my mind is Redarmi's example of  Greggs pasty and Lingers placepot being filled in at the same time as the Andy Murray semi final was on as these were 'compiled'

Savage analysis, bobby!

If the Pats concentrate on stopping the dual rush threat, does this open up for Randy Moss to zimmerframe his way to an MVP? Would be quite a story for him to do it against the Pats when he almost won it for them in 2008.

Ravens, not Pats

Right thought though. Of course it should be Kaep or Flacco or Gore or Ray Rice, but 17/2 the field?!

Yes. What you said. Lol

Was distracted watching a frame of snooker decided by a blue ball shootout.
