First quarter is always slow, players never played together, plus every player on the bench gets to show his face. After that it will become a lot more serious, not looked at other quarters, think just playing unders on Q1 was the play. Not sure on totals Marky, they'll score a lot more consistently as the game goes on, not one I'm backing, just enjoying it now and more than freerolling the Melo MVP bet

Yeah, I only chucked my profit from Q1 on going for a spin up and prob should have left it alone knowing nothing about how it would play out.

The total for this All star game was crazy and I should have posted it really but was a bit busy today so glad Jeff posted something similar.  At one point it reached 297 and only once has it gone over that number without overtime and that was last year.  Admittedley that was last year so is the most relevant game but even so scoring 300+ points has to be very close to the physical maximum it is possible to score.

Game has been pretty poor so far imo. Not getting close to 300 points either at this rate. Betting totals/spread in this game is suicide though imo. Did like the Q1 bet though and got on so thanks for that.

I read the other day the totals went up 10 points in one day, the amount of public money coming in on the overs was so much. That just can't be right

Durant and Melo have a lot more minutes than others too which bodes well.

Fingers crossed Melo has a heater then, defence too please and <145 would be nice.

Really close for MVP after 3 quarters, top scorers are: KD 24, Dwayne Wade 21, Lebron 18, Melo 17. Chris Paul has 11 and 13 assists, MVP race is surely between these guys, close as it's been in years, normally someone has scored loads and is clear now. If any of them get hot, hit 3 or 4 threes in a row, they'll win it, guess same for one of two others. Gogogo

279.5 which I think is gonna be a bit of an ask, will the west start slowing things up if they extend to 10 again?

No, nuthin slows an AllStar game down. Might even go to overtime yet. Be better for u if it stays close tho, if they get away, they might just stop playing D and showing off with dunks etc. MVP is close, come on Melo, three threes now!
