Think that might become a regular Fred-ism.

I have not been around lately as I have been hunting for a new laptop & phone 3G has a stupid lock on it, so can't even browse from the phone.

Bolton bet is looking shocking after winning at the weekend, but that is what we get with a 33-1 shot, it was worth a £5 shot.

However...

Wolves lose again and Fred has a bet on it. I have been reading elsewhere Wolves fans are getting terrible angry with him, not only is the team not creating many chances, but also makes it more difficult when he is putting the better players on the bench. They have played one more game than a few of the teams down there & now face a difficult game against Watford at the weekend.

However...

results wasn't amazing for us, Bolton pulled away, Wolves' nearest rivals in the dog fight (Barnsley) lost 5-3 to Bristol City, but I suppose a win for Bristol City was a half decent result for us there.

It's looking like a decent sweat at the moment.

Interesting to see if Saunders lasts if he doesn't pick enough points up in the next couple of games.

Daily Summary, @ 13.40, Monday February 25th

We made a profit of £303.85 yesterday.

After 2 bad days, when everything that could go wrong did, & we kept getting touched off, the ever fickle Dame Variance took a shine to us, & we ran pretty damn good.

No less than 11 bets completed,  we had 6 losers (two of them winner-related) & 5 winners.

We had to write off some old bets, too, £75 worth, but what a good day is was to do that without going into red numbers. It would have been a good day to write off out 6 Nations bets on Ireland to win, & Wales to be wooden-spoonerers, but as far as I can see, both results are still possible. Technically.

The losers were…..

Samie Ghadie, DoI, -£30

Oscars, Les Mis, -£20

BWIN 6 Nations Promo, £-25.  There was a “Money Back/Free Bet” Promo think associated with this, but until & unless we can establish the exact situation, I felt it best to write the £25 off for now.

Bradford DNB - -£10

Atletico Madrid 2-0, -£7.50

Atletico Madrid 3-0, -£5

The Roll of Honour? Dominated by regular Fred’s Bad Beat, hector & horsey, who all added to their +ROI in splendid style.

Atletico Madrid to win 1-0, +£48.75. (+£36.35 net). This was a non-sweat, the bet never looked in danger of losing for a moment, Atletico Madrid completely dominated & controlled the game. Well done horsey.

Craig Gilroy, AnyTime Try Scorer, Scotland v Ireland. A most peculiar game, & result, but Craig was in sharpish, job done.  +£55, & another nice hector Rugby bink.

The rest of the profit came from a most unusual bet for us – two EW Singles & an EW double on the gee-gees, accompanied by a splendid Channing Tutorial on when & why EW betting & particularly Doubles CAN, in certain circumstance, be profitable.  We had one winner, & one 2nd, for a combined profit on an £80 stake of £317.60. Very nice, well done Neil. By an odd freak of circumstances, the jolly in both races was out of contention almost before the race began. MBN to run that good.

Our overall ROI is now creeping up towards 3%, which must be the next target. We are doing good, but without losing the fun factor, we need to be aiming for a better ROI.
