Sprinter Sacre v Flemenstar v Cue Card at Aintree.
How would we bet on this?
To 100% (ish)
SS 1/2
F 4/1
CC 6/1
Too long SS?
Should be a great race.

I thought we had a bet on Luca Brecel, or why I have got £20 at 125s on Sky? I never heard of him bar this place
It was recommended on here ages ago, but Fred missed the price, it was probably a throwback to then.
At the time I thought it was an over-reaction, there are so many kids who are exceptionally goood at the game but don't come through, but I was probably wrong. A first for me that, pretty much.
Haunts me everytime I check in
It shouldn't do, think Brecel is best 100-1 ante-post now and definitely a player who is going to make it to the later stages of major tournaments on a 2-3 year view, if not this Championship

The Melling 'Chase.
The distance makes it very interesting provided the notoriously bad traveller Flemenstar turns up in good nick.

County Championship cricket begins in a fortnight
Last season's table can be seen at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_County_Championship
Middlesex were promoted to Div 1 and finished 3rd
One win and a couple of draws behind the winners, Warwickshire
This time round Warwicks are understandably favourites again
http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/county-championship-div-1/county-championship-division-one/winner
strong all round side and going to be thereabouts with Someserset and Notts
Middlesex though should be a touch stronger than last year, having recruited Harris the England fringe seamer from Glamorgan to lead the attack with Roland-Jones in the likely absence of Finn. Furthermore the emergence of Joe Root seems to have tied up the England spot that Eoin Morgan had 18 months ago and he should be available a lot more this summer
Well coached (Fraser and Ramprakash), lots of depth in the squad, a result wicket much of the time at Lords....(up to 24 points for a win, a max of 12 ponts for drawing: need result games)
Middlesex are currently priced to come 5th-6th and see that as hugely pessimistic. Surrey are always shorter in ante-post markets than they should be, for example
If you don't mind tying the money up til September, heartily recommend £50 e/w Middlesex CC Div 1 15-2 PPower e/w 1/5 1,2,3
note. Heavy rollers are back into CC this year, so no getting stuffed on game by game strategic "no rollers are a nightmare for batsmen" recommendations when the summer never arrives, like last year

Probably a few people hoping the weather picks up a bit. Wouldn't want to be fielding in this weather.

Youuuuuuuuuuu bearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs!
Having said that, we are probably a little short in price. Always find it hard to gauge these things when two of your best players are centrally contracted, plus there's a busy summer ahead.

Definitely worthy favourites, but not for me a bet at 4-1
Seven test matches, champions trophy and the usual ODIs this summer
Having strength in depth crucial as a lot of players are going to get called into various England squads
so if Chopra is next in line behind Compton, for example, that has a big impact on Warwicks
