I don't get it.. You were going to write up a post for a max bet when you were drunk, then you didnt write up a post last night to back the other side instead,  but next time you will keep it to yourself?

You made no post above one line on the game until the score was 8-1, tho you have actually told peoiple to back both sides in this game when drunk and don't even remember doing so.

I've steered enough people onto the wrong side in this game but at least there was no ambiguity about it.

It looks like Hendry's finally getting the hang of his new cue after breaking his old five-bob one a few years back.

This is a "tip" in the purest sense of the word.

I have zero opinion on the bet, I am just the messenger.

The geezer is pretty good though.

We have had a very good day on the cricket. Entirely connected with almost entirely uninterrupted play all day

The State of Play is as follows

(if weather had not intervened, then 300 overs possible so far)

Lancashire: 250 & 44-4 (21.0 overs)
Warwickshire: 329 (102.2 overs)
Close

24 wickets in 230 overs total. A result is favourite here tomorrow.* with Lancs still 35 adrift of Warwks with 4 wickets gone

Middlesex: 188 & 21-1 (11.3 overs)
Durham: 238 (58.2 overs)
Close

21 wickets in 126 overs total. All three results possible tomorrow*

Nottinghamshire: 162 & 47-0 (12.0 overs)
Somerset: 445-2 (111.4 overs)
Close

12 wickets in 179 overs total. The most one sided game. Can Somerset win by an innings? *

Surrey: 140 & 131-6 (37.0 overs)
Worcestershire: 119 (47.5 overs)

26 wickets, including an amazing 19 today, in 126 overs total. A result, either way is a clear favourite*

* The weather forecast for tomorrow is once again mixed, and may spoil a sweat here. If play is uninterrupted tomorrow then I think we are strong favourites to get two results, and a good chance of a third

If only the weather had been a bit better, we'd have hosed up on the bet by now. The combination of early season conditions, the change to the roller regulations and (at the Oval) poor batting technique made this a really good thing
