We triggered the BetVictor free bet as well
Well spotted; Hughes came fourth.
Thanks.

Morning all.
Overlaid badly this morning due to MAKING A FINAL TABLE LAST NIGHT so missed all the Fred Fun.
Cape Peron?
Ha!
Before I did the Betting Preview Show, I wrote to an esteemed professional, & asked him to mark my card.
He gave me a whole ton of information, & ended with this.....
Absolute, complete banker of the week is Cape Peron in the Britannia.
I cannot name my source, of course, that would be unprofessional, & I don't wish to embarrass him.

Richard Hughes finished third in the 5pm so I think that will trigger another free bet for our Chopin loser.

7/2 Torres to score a hattrick with WH, enchanced from 2/1. Reports suggest he starts. Thoughts?

not for me
was a bit of 5-1 and 9-2 around earlier in the week
7/2 seems ok but no more than that

Daily Report
Profit on the Month £66.01
Outstanding Bets £1168.84
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&pli=1#gid=25
A profit of £180 net yesterday thanks to Rizeena at Ascot and More than Seven Welsh players being selected in the Lions first test team for the weekend
This takes the thread back into profit for the month and, for the moment, means there has been a swing of over £600 positive this week
Onwards.....
Profit?
Incredible work lads, well done!

You played a sit 'n go last night right?

I like it, generally a 2-1 shot and 6-4 in a place.
Nigeria smashed em 6-1, think Spain will get a few more, i've seen handicap quotes of -9 spain.
Think any early quotes of 5-1 might have misjudged how bad Tahiti are and over played Torres being somewhat out of form.
Don't see hardly any downside to this bet. Plus if he doesn't start bet is void.

I was going to send a PM to Mr Mere, but I may as well mention it openly, here.
I know that the whole Fred thing is tremendous fun, we all help each other, try & make a few bob, & have a laugh along the way, but......
I cannot help but think I've put Mere in a bad spot here, he must be spending every waking moment keeping up with all the stuff, especially Royal Ascot. Alongside that, he is running, with imperious effeciency, the Royal Ascot Tipster thread AND the WSOP Fantasy Leagues. He has also set up, & is managing, several private spreadsheets for me, & from what I gather, he has helped numerous others with the same sot of thing.
Which begs several comments or questions.....
1) Big thanks to Mere, for everything he does for Fred, for blonde, & many of us personally. He does everything with ruthless effecincy, & wry humour. What a top bloke.
2) A pattern is now emerging during racing festivals (Cheltenham, Epsom Derby Week, Guineas week, Royal Ascot, Goodwood upcoming, Leger week, then we have the Golf Majors, & other major punting occasions) & these generate a tremendous amount of fun for all of us, but......also an incredible workload for the bet placer chappie.
When I do these, as you know, I get a bit stressed out, & there are misclicks galore, & it's all taken in good heart by everyone. But the thing is.......I'm really not sure I will always have the amount of time necessary to devote to it during the "rush periods" during the major punting weeks. I seem to recall getting in a right muddle during Cheltenham week, & we can expect more of the same. I'm also not certain to always have the time available to keep up to date. I'd certainly have struggled this week, even if I was at home. And it is not fair, or right, to ask Mere to do it except in emergencies.
Not sure where I'm going with all this, but the sheer size of Fred now means that I think we need to see if there are ways to share the load amongst a small team, perhaps?
End of rambling blather......
Anyway, HUGE thank you to Mere for his efforts always, & during my Vegas absence, & Royal Ascot, especially.
I ought to add thanks to Tighty, who does the Daily Updates so damn well, & prompts us with previews & reviews of Rugby, Cricket & the like, & to the incredible amount of work that Doobsy puts in to Fred, as well.
What fun, but also, lets acknowledge the hard work by these guys, & see if we can find a way to spread the load.
The Elders may be able to assist us with advice here.
Oh, & word about Chompy. Tosser.

I hate you both.
Now, bugger off whilst I sort out my Royal Ascot selections for tomorrow. I would LOVE it if I won that.
