I had been hoping for good weather all week for a rugby league bet for you but I have been scuppered. I was going to suggest Wakefield to beat London by more than 50 points at 9-1 but this weather means I must look elsewhere.

Huddersfield host Leeds today and this should be Leeds hardest match they have faced in weeks, and they have a lot of injuries. I have looked at the prices for Huddersfield to win by 13+ and have found a price that is ool. Ladbrokes and Coral make this a 10/11 shot which is a bit low as I thought it is about 11/10. However William Hill are currently 6/4.

Suggest £20 Huddersfield to win by 13+ points @ 6/4 with Hills.

They seem to be 10/11 for 10 points now.
Am I missing something?
Can you post a link to the appropriate market?

Daily Report

Loss on Month £364.67

Outstanding Bets £995

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&pli=1#gid=25

A lossof £39 yesterday with the Boxing loss and the Saturday Royal Ascot losses offset in part by Australia just covering the spread in the thrilling first Lions Test in Brisbane

As Mere notes above, Royal Ascot produced an overall profit but entirely from the first race where Declaration of War was one of the best results the thread has seen. The story after that was a litany of losers. We do though have five free bets to use to take advantage of the offers that swelled our ebtting volumes last week

Wimbledon starts tomorrow, in theory, and there is now a Murray position on the thread with the back up of a free bet if eh does not make the semis

The Champions Trophy England bet looks likely to be scuppered by the weather which is a shame as the pitch was green and Anderson was going to run amok amongst the Milkman's Lilliputians from the sub continent. I think

I was getting twitchy with Maximum bet OCD yesterday but was working so couldn't do the full write up/rationale for Australia +7 in Melbourne yesterday. They are now into +4 but still 13/8 outright. If their captain is banned for the stamp, will be watching for +5/+6 to don vicarious betting boots and get Mere to wade in, I think

I gather Corbs and O'Connell are injured to. O'Connell would be a big loss

Well done or unlucky, during Ascot.

Yes, mixed fortunes.
Our results tailed off somewhat.

If someone would like to do an analysis of all the offers that I missed that might be entertaining. Smiley

I would say they are pretty great results all told......

Tough audience on what looked a bit of a bookies benefit at times.

I wouldn't worry about the bets missed. I know we missed a winner or two, but we definitely missed quite a few losers too.  I'd be surprised if it was much away from break even on the missed bets.  It must have been tough to keep up some days, and nobody can expect you to be at watching the thread to catch every 15 minute offer throughout the day.

That's very kind of you.
Just want to repeat my thanks for all your efforts over the last few days; Fred appreciates it!

Think we should throw another bullet at the St Leger.

There seems a decent chance that Leading Light will be Ballydoyle's number 1 for the Leger.  Ruler of The World has been friendless for a while in that market.

Hills are one of the best priced bookies at 10/1.  Suggest we use one of the £24(?) free bets to back it.

It would be good to use a free bet sooner, but don't really want to oppose Ruler of The World in the Irish Derby.

I assume some of these free bets have expiry dates, and I am not going to be able to do much this week.  Could someone put up the details, so we can get a plan to use up any that need to go this week.

Cheers

The cricket is scheduled for a 3:45pm start - 24 overs each.
The weather may still play a part as both sides must bat for 20 overs (or be bowled out) to constitute a game.

Just a bit.

Excellent results, rewarding all the hard work by many, but especially Doobs, Mr Channing (currently working 36 hour days in Vegas) & Mr Mere.

Really pleased & relieved we got out of Ascot with a profit, as I recall, we did the same at Cheltenham this year, again mostly down to the first race of the Meeting. Quite a double, that.

The cricket is now scheduled for a 20 over match starting at 4:20pm.
Any further delay and it will be cancelled, I assume.

Meanwhile, at half-time, Huddersfield lead Leeds 22-12.
