Sandy
Don't leave us again Sandy, we need your golf bets, and we always get such value.
That pays for most of today's losses.
Delighted, thank you.

Quite fancy the 7/2 England to win the Ashes 5-0
Old Trafford, Durham and the Oval all going to be similar pitches. Dry, wearing.
Australian batting very poor (I under-estimated this)
We have clear superiority in spin and in batting, Australians closest to parity in seam bowling
Weather set fair
reckon the right price is 3/1
England will be 4/6 to win each test from here on, having been Evens/above in the first two matches which would be a 3-1 treble
It's a small mis-price imo

Meh.
You'd expect a dead cat bounce and England to slightly to take the foot off the gas (even if subconsciously) once the series has been won.
Plus impossible to predict the weather this far in advance.
I think you'd need 9/2 before this was a bet.
Not sure I agree. The difference between the two teams is huge. Of course England may take their foot off the gas but I still don't see how Australia beat an England team operating at 80%. I was about to take 5.4 on Betfair so if you want to lay me 5.3 commission free I will happily take it.

I'd be happy to lay the 7/2 Tighty thought it was a bet at, but over 4/1 is a pass for me.
Good luck with it, hope they do it, because I would really be interested in backing Australia at a big price this winter.

Hurry up and decide........

Interim Report
Scott e/w, Gallacher, Quintana and Carney help the thread to an £18 profit today despite taking the bulk of the Open losses, over £100, this afternoon
This weekend a profit of over £150 on 31 bets and volume of £700

Great effort by everyone, we buzzed all weekend and made a bit of money, too.
We will struggle to top the last few days.
Withdrawal symptoms tonight, no bets lined up!

It was a bit rubbish in the end. It would have been a lot better if I put all 26 up.

Swann takes nine wickets in the match
After two games he and Anderson ahve 13 wickets each, Siddle 11
We have Swann 11/2 top series wicket taker
Old Trafford has been spinning all summer
Looking like a good bet to sweat all summer

@BBCTMS
England last won the first two Tests of an Ashes series in 1978/79. They went on to win the series 5-1.
6:48pm - 21 Jul 13
This was the six test Ashes because of Kerry Packer's World Series Cricket, wasn't it?
