If a second thread was started the viewer would still need to be around to view the bet placement pretty quickly. Maybe 70% of bets now are time sensitive and the prices perhaps do not last long.

Thoughts on Defoe @
top spurs goalscorer with Bale's impending departure?
Don't see anyone scoring >15 goals this season, so you're pretty much always in contention, backing a proven goalscorer who'll likely get double figures.
4-4-2 much more likely without Bale.

Yup.
The T & C's state.....
Applies to singles only
Applies to win or each-way market only.
Applies to win part of each way bets only.
Max Refund E/£100 per customer for each race
Paddy Power horse racing rules apply
Applies to bets placed from 10am on July 28th
Does not apply to Tote bets.
I don't much like saying "we wuz unlucky" in betting or poker. But we were, a bit, after such a bad start.

Coral have pushed Chelski out to 3/1 as a price boost. At the same time that nice man Dale Tempest is on SSN telling us Chelski are now the 9/4 faves with SlyBet
3/1 sounds very, very generous.

Also true, we bet on a lot of thin markets, & the whole key to the thing is value, & getting the price, something which, when we started, I never appreciated, as I just looked for winners, & had no understanding or interest in "value".
If we had missed the price by, say, 5% (the difference between, say, 11/10 & 21/20) on every bet Fred had placed, Fred would be a net loser, instead of a 3% (or whatever) winner.

Unless, of course, a volunteer stepped forward to Post the bets, which would require them to be Online a great deal.
My other points, ditto horsey's, still stand of course.

Was just an idea, just annoying when good bets are missed!

Maybe an idea would be for a standard header at the top of any post that is a suggestion for a bet?
Could be in bold, larger letters, even in a different colour - so that it stands out when people scan through.
Much like the:
ON
that tikay uses when a bet is placed.

Well that sits with those who Post the recommends.

Thanks John.
We will mull this over for a few days, & see what ideas surface.
It IS a good point, but it needs looking at a little wider, imo.
A Thread which JUST Posted the bets placed would be a Godsend for outsiders & lurkers. Everyone is welcome, but we want contributors, givers, rather than those who just "take" from it.
