Think waiting is fine

Might only get 6/1 but better to have the 8 at the start

Not the sort of horse that is going to get backed so drift not a worry really

Gotcha.

hello all

have to say this is the best thread on the internet followed it as a guest since the start

been meaning to join for months the talk of this spider has finally sealed the deal

been some amazing stuff on the thread long may it continue

may pop in again at some stage to use up my new tipster first bet gets placed token - celebrity big brother starts tonight!!!

Welcome Malty sir! Bring on CBB, been bored the last couple of nights without any BB to watch.

Sure you know the drill by now, that it's tradition for new threadites to post their top five tipsters, with a line on each. You may not include Tikay as an expert tho.

true with no bb to watch last night had to suffer through some spanish football a waste of everyones time and energy

top 5

1. bad beat - until today assumed it was finding an edge, maths, knowledge and study that found his each way bets but hes got an untrained spider doing the leg work

2. hector - milkman gardener and lazy plumber. the occasional loser he picks have usually been jinxed by the weight of my loose change

3. tightend - for sheer graft. the nfl stuff is beyond me like doobs n his calculator but it works

4. redarmi - doesnt do as many now but great old tales of punting and gambling as a business

5. dubai -  doesnt mess about always hope his max bets tikay flapping. podcast is good listen hope it continues

honourable mentions to pretty much everyone else on the thread who makes it such a good read and help in sometimes pinching a few quid

Don't normally put horses up but I think this one is quite interesting.

Pick a little, 6.20 Wolves 28/1 general. I don't know an awful lot about the Gee Gees but I do know this.

Races tonight off an AW mark of 70, 10lbs below his best ever AW mark of 80 achieved last year. His stats are something else. It's won 9 times from 45 races, including 6 times from 22 starts on the AW. That's a pretty decent 25% strike rate.

Jockey Jack Mitchell is at the course for this one ride. I don't know much about the guy but he rides for quite a few trainers and has a decent record.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something obvious here but 28/1? Can anyone add anything to this? I've had a tenner each way and may go back in for more.

Thanks Rubbish.

I think horsey is a bit of an AW specialist, especially at the gaffe tracks, lets see what he thinks.

Spider picked the right trainer, failed miserably on the draw and the horse.

Tikay York is all well and good but there is a nice class 6 handicap i have my eye on at Bath at 3.30

Ideal shape for a bet 8 runners with a short priced animal with no turf form (only had 3 runs tbf)

Precision Five best horse in race hence top weight however on only turf run since being qualified for a handicap ran a strange race on similar ground to today and looked less than straightforward.

The horse may have needed the run but there are enough doubts for me and she is priced up as if this is a Lingfield polytrack race (for which she would be a rightful 4/5 shot against these)

Saint Boniface still unexposed to a degree has looked devoid of any pace so far often running on late, could not rule out but short enough.

SPECIAL REPORT SUGGEST £20 EWAY AT 11-2 a 18 time maiden does not strike as in ideal betting opportunity at first glance.

However only been with the excellent Peter Hiatt for 4 runs and has shown more promise for positive tactics and longer trips.

Make no mistake as a 47 rated animal he is slow very slow infact but he has been running his race, the icing on the cake being we get a switch from a competent 7lb claimer to W Carson who is often Hiatts go to man.

The rest have either no form at all or are a long way out of form. I struggle to see the bet out the 3 and with the slight doubts about the favourite we might nick a win.

Ideally wait to as close as the start as possible Tikay if your about as 8 runners make it a bet for me at 5/1 + any taken out im not so keen

Price starting to shorten, so I took the 13/2 Sporting Bet ( standout price) but they restricted me to £12.30 EW.

Last spotted sneaking up the water spout, away from prying eyes.

Special Report placed, so a small profit, well done horsey.

Did you buy your spider from Lord Grumps?
