I don't think "Let's back Liverpool because they've been crap all season but football is a funny game" is the analysis this thread needs tbh.

Just because it's the FA Cup final doesn't mean we've got to have a bet.

To be fair that's not the analysis that was given. Somebody said we HAVE to back Chelsea because Liverpool have been crap all season and a couple of people said that could be irrelevant and we think Liverpool will win. Nobody advised a bet on Liverpool. You can have an opinion without advising a bet.

Misquoting seems rife in the thread. A question becomes a definitive statement including capitalisation. You could probably have answered (insert sport) is a funny old game or (insert sport) doesn't always go to form to every post here.  Was multitabling last night so couldn't give much reasoning, but to me it seems Liverpool have been fairly consistently too short in the match betting since rafa's last year.  Guess we'll see later

Apologies it wasn't meant at a dig at you and my post seems to be misunderstood too. You questioned whether we had to back Chelsea as Liverpool had been shit all year. My reply was not meant to come across as "it's a funny old game" but more "they are regarded as being shit but they've won a cup competition beating two really good teams on their way (including today's opponents) so maybe the bad season can't be applied everywhere as they've again got to another cup final (beating Man U) on the way"

So it's a strange game as despite being poor for most of the season they find themselves a win away from their 2nd trophy rather than it's a strange game so the crap team can win.

I wasn't multi-tabling tho. I'm just lazy and not great at getting my point across obvs.

French fifteen is drifting really badly. Just took 17.5 would you believe.  The draw doesn't look a problem as chompy pointed out.
