Maybe a bit of value with Giroud to score first tonight for Arsenal.

5's and shorter in most places but Ladbrokes and Hills go 6's & with Hills if he scores second... you get money back as  free bet via mobile I think.

Not sure if fred material, but worth backing imo.

Arsenal have won their last 4 matches in the Champions League (including qualifiers).

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in 5 of Napoli's last 6 games in the Champions League (including qualifiers).

Arsenal have scored at least 2 goals in their last 4 matches in the Champions League (including qualifiers).

Napoli have scored at least 2 goals in 5 of their last 6 matches in the Champions League (including qualifiers).

Napoli and Arsenal experts on here, is there any mileage in going for "outlier" high scoring match results etc?

Both teams to score, over 2.5 etc both 4/6 or shorter so the above stats are pretty much priced in

Something like over 4/5 goals at 9/2 BetVictor (for illustrative purposes.....)

I hadn't considered the fact that we might score over five Wink

Marseille were 11/1 with Betfred. 9.5/1 on Betfair.  Didn't have time to explain.  Now 1-0 down, good swerve.

Very enjoyable first 20 minutes there, though it slowed down subsequently.

The Main Man slotted that goal home beautifully, ba- boom.

Do you remember a while back we had a discussion (well largely me spouting) about how Chelsea are more likely to win games 1-0 and 2-0.  Well  just read an article on a really, really good website that explains why it would happen and thought it was worth linking:  http://www.statsbomb.com/2013/08/introduction-to-defensive-shells/

Recall it well. I intended to back it blind for a period, but forgot.......!

Were Arsenal really good, or were Napoli really bad?

Maybe redarmi's theory was correct.

Well done Arsenal backers, I got that completely wrong! Napoli just didnt turn up, doubt Higuain would have made a difference on the night.

Milan didn't get a result either.  I would be really tempted to back Galatasaray tomorrow but I get the sense that the Turkish sides are just as overrated as the Italian ones.  Bodes well for Dnipro though
