Always bet no goalscorer instead of betting 0-0 when prices are same

Bert got big chance, Wallis in paper saying Snapper being trained to peak in latter rounds but will do well to clear Bert to the bend. Looks solid 11-8/6-4 shot

In fact, I think you told me that before, though oddly, the best price I can see "No Goalscorer" is 10/1 on this occasion. So we've equalled that, unless I've got it round my neck again. I'll remember next time. Very probably.

Remember feeling very smug when I copped one of these in (i think) a Liverpool cup game years ago.  Like a good degen was checking the wap scores while in the cinema with my girlfriend and was gutted when a late goal appeared on my screen.  Obviously mighty pleased when teletext provided me with the happy "o.g" news when i got home later.

No no, we had a quiet night, not much action.

Wale is marking up badly which was the worry beforehand. Galahad's power isn't troubling him.  Right eye is closing and can't see him being allowed to go the 12.

Fingers crossed. Ours, not his.

Thats a comeback in some ways.

Our man just needs to have a good day tomorrow, & we might get a return yet, even if only Top English, or the EW part of the "outright" bet.

If Loner is 40/1+ for the outright after that I'm backing her.

She is stayed on really well after missing the break.

66/1 on PP. Don't think QF is as bad as you think, it has got to break one of these days and should get the better of the inner.

You may, or may not, remember that Bad Beat's tip tonight, Coolavanny Bert, was one of the selections I gave you. He's won his last two races in decent times and he could potentially lead anything up but not certain he can hold everything. We'll see. He's into 16/1 from the advised 33/1.

The other main bet I advised was Bubbly Phoenix who ran the fastest time tonight and is 2nd fave outright.

Of my 8 antepost bets, 6 remain so I'm really looking forward to a good sweat. And I may add Razldazl Rioga @ 20/1. I'll have a look at the new market and see if I'd suggest anything.

I've seen the draw for QFs on Tuesday and there is one I like so when prices are available I may advise it (with the appropriate backing).

I haven't yet posted a tip and I know you are quite keen on having a bit of action on the cherry 'ogs.

I have just spent three hours working on the greyhound Derby heats for tonight and I came up with a couple of interesting thoughts.

At exactly that time a guy I know texted to ask what my Vegas plans were as he is going. Last year I had dinner with him and with greyhound trainer Mark Wallis at The Rio. This guy is the best judge of the dogs I have ever met. The Camel knows him well and I'm sure he'd agree that if you can get a selection out of him it should be followed blindly. I couldn't resist asking him for a nap.

He said all the prices looked absolutely correct except for one race. This is how it should be - they shouldn't make too many mistakes on these things (my worry on this thread is that too much time is spent trying to find five mistakes from eight premier games each week). The race involved has a Mark Wallis runner in it. My friend is great though. He is totally dispassionate and he opposes his friend's dog.

He says the 4, 5 and 6 dog in the 10.25 are 16/1 shots to his eyes. This makes the market for his selection which he feels ought to be close to evs.

You should go for a max here I think.

10.25 Coolavanny Bert - plenty of 2/1 with the Mickey Mouse firms.

Interested to get the Dubai dog card. He almost proved to me he was a judge on the hounds, one night at Hove.

Thanks Neil.

Thank you, different gravy.

and great stuff from Dave too, top class. Thread moral high as a kite.
