Always bet no goalscorer instead of betting 0-0 when prices are same

Bert got big chance, Wallis in paper saying Snapper being trained to peak in latter rounds but will do well to clear Bert to the bend. Looks solid 11-8/6-4 shot

In fact, I think you told me that before, though oddly, the best price I can see "No Goalscorer" is 10/1 on this occasion. So we've equalled that, unless I've got it round my neck again. I'll remember next time. Very probably.

Betting it Dubai's way means that if there is an own goal and the match finishes 1-0 then you still win as own goals do not count for FGS purposes but do count if the correct score is 1-0

not sure what peoples thoughts are on 0-0 crewe v southend (9/1 on bet365, not looked elsewhere yet)

southend kept 5 clean sheets on the bounce
crewe manager saying the below makes me think they might play pretty tight?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18023688

Am not terribly keen on "Correct Score", these seem pretty tough to forecast, or value, but with 0-0, at least we start on terms......

We can beat that price, too, so a rather risky £25 @ 10/1 with S*yBet is what we have. We need to do something left-field to get out of trouble, after all.

ON

Draw 0-0
Correct Score: Crewe v Southend 10/1 £25.00 £275.00 O/10805850/0000058

Norrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

First rule of punting. Never ever bet 0-0.

Back no goalscorer at the same price, then if it finishes 1-0 with the 1 being an own goal, you still win.

Go to the bottom of the class.

Sorry to bring more bad news to the thread. Vince isn't singing till next week Sad

Today just got better. A lot better.

For the sake of tidying up our unsettled bets, think we can write Kid Dude off, yes?

Nah don't do that. Your words of enthusiasm always bring a smile to my face.

I read back quite a few pages, but can't find anything suggested for this game yet, so thought I'd suggest an idea for a bet.

I think there could be goals galore in the Chelsea vs Blackburn game tomorrow. Blackburn are a ghost team now, I honestly can't see them turning up to the game. Chelsea will want to finish the league season on a high to give them momentum heading in to the final next saturday. There may be a few players rested, but I actually think that's good for the bet; the likes of Sturridge if they get a chance ought to be keen to impress. Paul Robinson and David Dunn are doubts for Blackburn, two of the few players who it seemed to me actually gave their all towards the end of the season.

I do think there's a big chance that the Blackburn defence will just collapse tomorrow, but if we're being hopeful we can perhaps hope for a goal or two at the other end as well; Cahill and Luiz are both out, as is the defensive-minded Obi Mikel, perhaps Yakubu, Hoilett or Pederson might be able to break through.

I think a good bet would be Over 4.5 goals. If you're feeling adventurous you can even look at the 5.5's; I personally have done up to 6.5's just in case. I had a look around and currently the biggest price is Betfair's 11/4 for the 4.5's, you can get around 6/1 on 5.5's.

Obviously bet whatever you see fit, but if you were to put £50 on it, I'd suggest splitting the bet £40 on the 4.5's and £10 on the 5.5's.

Counter-opinions welcome as always if anyone thinks I'm missing something.

Thanks, but I deffo need some of those!

Lets see what peeps say. Yes, Blackburn are mentally in a huge hole, but over 4.5 is some prediction, imo. I am not sure Chelsea will have all guns blazing.

Well Crewe and Southend reached half time without the scorers being troubled.

Just gotta do it again now.

Good luck Anthony!

!!

No worries.

0-0 correct score is such an anti-climax after a goal, there's just nothing left, not even a sliver of hope.

Good effort, anyway. Kinda hope it ends 6-4 now, all own goals.....

Fancy Boher Paddy in 1, 11/11 in red, Bucks lacks early and moves off, can't get touched to bend and evens and above very fair, will return odds on
