Fred did bet on the next Pope. Pretty sure the Hell in a handcart is locked up already.

What a bet that was from Dazzler!

All the sweeter now that bwin have turned out to be a bunch of wronguns.

I'm pretty sure that Fred didn't have a bet on the next Pope.
I didn't push it but I reckon that Tikay thought that was a step too far, like betting the 'Queen Mother to die in the next calender year' type of bet.
Glad someone got on it though Marky. BWin was '11/2 on Central or South American' if I recall?

The Motherwell Affair.....

Motherwell now generally 4/7, even 1/2 in one spot.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/scottish/premiership/hearts-v-motherwell/winner

Some of the Fred lads do know value when they see it.

Now 1/2 best, general 4/9, with bits of 2/5 and 4/11!

Good selection this, win or lose.

I do hope I never talked Chompy out of ramping up and then laying a bit back.

It will be worth keeping an eye on the next set of fixtures as well because this Hearts team aren't getting better anytime soon.  They already know they are relegated and can't afford to bring any new blood in (think they might have a transfer embargo)

FWIW the 1/2 might still be a decent price with the news that Wilson/McHattie and Tapping could all be out on Saturday.    They have been without Wilson for last 2 games but the others are probably 2 of there better players.

Cardiff v West Ham

Following the toothless display against Man City, surely 22/23 for Cardiff under new manager Solskjaer, is a rather big price? Combined with the forum bet on the Hammers manager to go in January, this could be the result that gets big Sam the boot?

Thoughts?

Maybe a bit late to put this up,

But I think that Roma to draw against Sampdoria is a bit big at a standout 9/2 with Betvic. Sampdoria have been unbeaten quite a few games, before losing to Napoli the other day, but they were a tad unlucky hitting the woodwork a few times and could have easily got something from the game.

Roma have lost to Juve quite badly having started well early on and this may well dent confidence. This is the Coppa Italia not a Serie A fixture.

Recommend small stakes on draw say 5 or 10 quid at 9/2 with Betvic. Kick off 1700.

Regards.
Both had weakened sides, especially Sampdoria

13/2 with them, but might I think it got cut, so maybe quite a few jumped on too.

Was even sweeter, because they offered a £20 match deposit bonus when I logged in which went on as well Cheesy

The 8/11 available with Tote for anyone who can get on with them for Motherwell to beat Hearts in the next bout of SPL fixtures looks like a good opportunity of picking up  some pension funds.

Partick beat them 2-0 today and Partick are utter mince.

Great spot. Massive value. Should be 4/11 or so IMO.

I think I got 11/2 so you must have taken the value:) But I hadn't spotted that market until you posted it so thx for that.

On a separate issue, does anyone else think this price is the wrong way around?
He's played over 60 mins just 4 times in the league this season and completed 90 mins only once. He is on a 1 year contract that expires at the end of this season. He is reportedly on £80k/week, which is even more than the supremely talented Sam Allyardce:) You could sign a very decent player for those wages.
On the other side, he is only about 40 games short of 1000 games for United in all competitions which I guess he could just about manage if he got 1 more year (although still unlikely).
I know Fred doesn't really like long term bets but I presume you wouldn't have to wait until the end of next season to get paid, if he retires at the end of this season. You might even get paid quicker if he announced before the end of this season that he's retiring.
Looks like a chunky bet to me, if they'd take it Smiley

Lee Ryan out to 6.4 on bf and 9/2 on sky. Don't think much of it myself but I know there was a lot of positive views when he first went in and the price dropped quickly.

Ollie has come across as a decent chap the way he has looked after old Lionel, probably the one to beat.

Was this one of Chompys back to lay jobbies?

I do hope so !

Always the option of getting out now at around 6. He had Rylan early odds-on potential but higher risk and could quickly go one way or the other. Rec was 4/1 or bigger, so no damage done as yet.

I got a bit of a chunk on at 6/1. Oi oi! Whale army! Whale army!
Tikay Chompy wants u on at anything over 4/1. Currently 22/1 generally, 29 on BF....don't see what can go wrong?

PS that fave Ollie is far too short

I've just backed WBA to go down @ 10/1. Looks an awful appointment to me. The guy has had 9 coaching jobs in 14 years, one good year last year and a total disaster this season. If they don't get a fast start, 10/1 might look very tasty in a month or two, as they are only 4 points above the bottom 3 now.
