Watford 1-0 up at half-time, away to Bournemouth.

Top half? Never in doubt.

Fine work, Mr Kamara

Saturday night boxing: Mike Perez and Carlos Takam fight in a 10 round heavyweight bout in Quebec.

Perez 20-0-0, a 6' 1 Cork based Cuban southpaw with good movement, variety and workrate as opposed yo most power orientated heavyweights. As he steps up in class his last 5 wins have came via comfortable points decisions (2x 8 rounders and 3x10). Notably his last opponent Magomed Abdusalamov is still in rehab recovering from a medically induced coma after their brutal December bout left him with a blood clot in the brain.

Takam 28-1-0, from Cameroon, fighting out of France looks to be a prospect with a padded out record. He's a little taller, had decent movement, weighed in 24lb heavier and is carrying it well but Perez should be way too classy for him.

A Perez victory is 1/6 on and I expected a victory by points to be similarly priced to the stoppage victory, which would be in the evens to 13/10 range. Paddy Power were the first to price this up and went 7/4 on a points victory and several other books followed suit. Notably Ladbrokes who normally watch the market form before stepping in with the best prices have only gone 5/4 on a points victory.

Suggested bet £20 on Perez by decision.

Fine work, Mr Kamara

At 0-0 that was our only potent chance and it didn't look likely we were going to score otherwise, so it was crucial he did his solo effort there and grabbed the win for us. Held on relatively comfortably there on out. My 3 Palace players in the fantasy football backline looks in good shape. Smiley

The suspense is killing me. It has been in 90+ mins for about 10 mins now lol. Assume it stayed 2-2.

Thank you, we've not had a boxing bet for ages. We need a Sunday morning squeeze, too.

We got 7/4, with BetFred, for £20.
