I had Jakally, Jaffacake and Doobs going ahead and saying Palace at 50/1 for the top ten was not a bad bet. I think considering the fact I have only been backed by one other person once for a bet (i think, Chompy to the rescue) that is a ringing endorsement Smiley

They play tonight as Tighty says and hopefully the value is gone by after the game.

£2, £5, £10 whatever you like. I just want to know I am appreciated. Cheesy

You ARE appreciated Ant, you know that.

I need reminding if this is VALUE though, please.

If you were suggesting a bet on, say, Brighton, I'd not hesitate, I just worry about the "homer factor".

I need a decision by 5.55pm today please, as I'm working (again) tonight.

Views from all urgently required please. I don't mind sticking a fiver or a tenner on if we agree it is VALUE.

I think they all thought it was value. Endorsing something as not a terrible bet means there is value in it I think, but I doubt you get an answer from the three guys that responded to me in time. If Palace do not win tonight though, it could be a bullet well dodged. Tis up to you. And my earlier jibe at under-appreciation is bollocks, I am merely having some fun with it, being facetious.

http://www.oddschecker.com/american-football/nfl/seattle-seahawks-at-denver-broncos/national-anthem-length

the under looks a cracking bet based on some research i found this morning

average length of last 10 years 2 minutes 9 secs (need this to be verified but source usually strong)

any reasons why this should not be a max for fred? (or what pp will lay)

We have had a MAXED £6.58 @ 5/6 for roffles with PP

BET PLACED

Tighty posted about this last week iirc along similar lines.

I do feel sorry for Ant at times when he puts such a case together and then questioned as to the value when 4 posts before you back a national anthem themed bet for "roffles"!!

Nakhi Wells 7/1 EW 1st GS tonight. As short as 5/1 elsewhere. Played twice for Huddersfield so far, scored in each game. Could be an After the Lord Mayor's show performance from Bournemouth aswell which helps (they entertained Gerrard&co on Saturday)

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/bournemouth-v-huddersfield/first-goalscorer

The 7/1 has gone, but we have a £20 interest @ 11/2.

The 11/5 Anytime (see Doobs Post) has gone too, 17/10 best I can get now.

Anyone that backed Bromley at 6/1 to win the Conference South, they play Eastleigh at home tonight, 1st vs 2nd, if the Lilywhites get the win, that could be an early shout for the title.

Hobart tomorrow is reputed, from pitch positioning and journalist reports (the charabanc following the tour arrived in Tasmania overnight) to have a very short boundary square

It was posted yesterday about Eng winning 4 of 5 of the ODI matches on six count, despite being a losing team

yet Eng are underdogs/odds against in the market for most sixes

http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/australia-v-england/t20-series/australia-v-england-%5B1st-t20%5D/team-to-score-most-6s

Anway, total sixes market http://www.oddschecker.com/cricket/australia-v-england/t20-series/australia-v-england-%5B1st-t20%5D/total-6s

In the two T20s at the end of the English summer there were 24 and 15 sixes. 24 was an outlier, Finch's fantastic innings but 15 in a 190 plays 170 game was fair enough

As a counter check earlier in the summer NZ v Eng produced 15 sixes too

If there is a short boundary tomorrow as suggested, 10 should be beaten

either market could be backed (Eng 6/5, Over 10.5 sixes)

Eng 6/5 has probably got more to go for in it, ie we aren't paying the over/under spread

I had put a bet on for Tikay if he had missed the price, but I wanted to see how many times you would post it before Tikay would tell you he was on   scared

Hopefully we'll be railing them home from Vegas, off the back of MCW loading up the hookers & blow fund!

Big old gap between those prices.  I think anything 5/1 and above is good at home.  You just couldn't even get that towards the end at Bradford.  11/2 is probably ok, but a bit borderline away.   You could have got 6/1 Nahki now, am sure someone else was 13/2 earlier.

Nahki won't let us down though.
