On another note

i notice "God" has drifted so to speak 11-4 available in two places (one fred can bet with) if original thinking was it was a good bet at 5-2 (i think) then surely we should be topping up with hills?

I looked up Manning's speech when he won the MVP in 2007, and I'm pretty sure he didn't thank god then.

On BE have to agree with Adz

If the info was still available to all for free (upon registering) and the boys were happy for it to be shared then fine.

Not so keen on it being done this way now (and im speaking of someone who has paid up just for this weekend)

Fwiw I had a long discussion about this the other day with a friend of mine who I think Tighty had discussed it with too and I kinda disagree with the logic that it is significant value.  Despite having no way of getting on at all I was sufficiently interested to youtube a bunch of Manning speechs where he had won something and he almost never mentioned god from what I could see.  I think he gets his relgion fairly quietly and obviously whilst someone like Wilson, Lynch etc could mention god first I think that in the general scheme of things and with the adrenalin still going teammates and the organisation are much more likely.  Manning also almost invairably mentions his wife at some point and seems very keen to want them to be seen as a unit.

Lets get with Hearts today, they seem to be playing slightly better and have started scoring goals.  From readng some of the quotes in the media there is a belief that they can get themselves into the play-off spot, I don't know if this is just bravado.  On the otherhand in the games I have watched Inverness play since John Hughes took over they have not been too convincing.  ICT beat Hearts 2 - 0 in December when arguably Hearts were at their worse and the game was pretty even,  confidence was at an all time low but today the pressure is effectively off Hearts as this is a cup game and they have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

There is ome 4/1 available on Betfair I would have had it closer to 11/4 tbh.  Nothing too crazy but we could back Hearts@ 4/1 for £30 or lay ICT for £60 at 1.89 either seems fine to me with the lay we have the advantage of the draw. Alternatively we could have Hearts to qualify @ 9/5.  I think the price is wrong in all 3.

Thanks.

Think I prefer the Lay of ICT.

Anyone else got a view?

TBF Tikay the knowledge on here of Scottish football barring a few posters isn't great as has been witnessed by Last Man Standing ;-)

This game is a 12:15 kick off.

Another angle you could explore is laying ICT to qualify.

Hearts team is as strong as they have been all season.

We went the Lord Grumpy route, Hearts +0.5 on AH, via Betfair, @ 2.21, for £20.

BET PLACED

Sick ending, I had backed Hearts (small) and Layed ICT (mediumish) = smallish profit.  Sigh.  I have layed ICT to qualify for a decent win though.  I don't like Hearts one iota but this could be a very nice start to a Sunday if they can get to the final.

I thought I'd pretty much got the hang of American Football terminology by now. So, I was reading some articles about what various people were expecting to happen tonight and came across these two gems. Firstly:

Look for Peyton Manning and the Broncos to run their Hi-Lo series (Hi-Lo, Hi-Lo Crossers, Hi-Lo Opposite) versus the Seahawks man-coverage schemes (Cover 1, 1 Robber, 1 Rover, etc.). There will be many two-level reads for Manning with pick/rub situations inside of the numbers.

Well, if that's nice and clear, we will move on to number two:

To target Cover 3, the Broncos will have to run their standard three-deep beaters out of both 3x1 and 2x2 alignments to create throwing lanes versus the zone shell
.

Reminds me perfectly of this:

The thirty seconds after 2:00 is the bit I'm really on about.

Not a joke.

I love how words that make sense on their own can be used in all manner of sentences.

Am mostly looking forward to watching the new adverts tomorrow.

Really really late but Scotland +12 on the handicap looks a good bet to me today. Ireland without Sean O'Brien and Paul O'Connell - probably their two most influencial players. Have had a cheeky £20 myself with BMU.
