WH

2.55 Haydock Our Father 8.0 from 8.30 am Saturday

6.8 on Betfair

Maybe I missed this, but WH are currently 5/1, so I've had to swerve it. Currently 6.6 on Betfair.

"I'll be fine at Fulham. I survived Felix Magath"

So said Lewis Holtby when he went to Fulham on loan.Less than a fortnight later....

check out https://twitter.com/JanAageFjortoft for the Magath stories

Meulensteen lasted 75 days, could easily see another change at the end of the seaosn if relegated without a recovery....

Magath is available at 28-1 the next PL manager to leave with Stin Jumes

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/next-manager-to-leave-post

I reckon there are worse uses of a stray £5 than this

We have to fade Hughton, Pardew etc leaving first of course, but logically in the era of transfer windows there's not a lot of point making changes when the window is closed for another 3-4 months.

Of course Fulham just did

Is that the same Fjortoft who said ogs would in no way take the cardiff gig?

Magath is an acquired choice but i like the appt, Fulham now have a mainly young side who should react well to his slightly strange ways

In other news

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/adnan-januzaj/international-team-to-represent

Kosovo is a very fair bet at 9/1 still with Unibet

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/feb/15/manchester-united-adnan-januzaj-kosovo?CMP=twt_gu

Kosovo should be a similar price to England imo and if thread/anyone can with Unibet 9/1 is to big

Channel 4 races for the WH mobile offer

1.45 Haydock

2.05 Ascot

2.20 Haydock

2.40 Ascot

2.55 Haydock

3.15 Ascot

3.35 Wincanton Inspection at 7.30 am Sat

3.50 Ascot

If Wincanton is off it will be replaced by 3.30 Haydock

I haven't gone for anything in the Wincanton race, but I am a huge believer in Annie Power and think she has made Zarkandar look worse than he really is.

£25 bets on hills mobile should be:
1.45 Haydock Aurore Destruval 15/8
2.20 Haydock Celestiam Halo 11/10.  Not a fan but maths are compelling on horses this short.
2.05 Ascot Many Clouds 15/8 which is Adzy's RSA horse I think.
3.50 Ascot Captain Chris Evens.  Against Neil's horse, but maths wins.

Go Team Pezza in Splash tomorrow.  Punish those bookies.

Thanks Lisa, David.

We got those 4 "Mobile" bets on, thouigh some minor price changes, one sligtly better, one a tad worse.

All £25, FREE BET if 2nd, with Wm Hill.

1.45 Haydock Aurore Destruval @ 15/8

2.20 Haydock Celestiam Halo @ 11/10

2.05 Ascot Many Clouds @ 7/4

3.50 Ascot Captain Chris @ 11/10

15 Feb 14 / 09:35

Stake

1:45 Haydock – Aurore D'estruval @ Guaranteed Price (15/8)

We have Bode Miller tomorrow in Super G @ 22/1 now generally 6/1, but drifting.

Soft snow conditions not in his favour. Bib draw later, with early starters having an advantage. Course setting will be also crucial, but won't be known until an hour or so before the start.

A few possible options as savers later depending on the draw.

I'm glad you remembered the sad demise of Sir Tom Finney.

He was a real giant of the game, as big in stature as any of the modern day greats, & a perfect Gent, too.

The photo you uploaded is an iconic one, & there is even a statue based on that photograph.

RIP Sir Tom Finney. The game has lost one of it's greatest ever Ambassadors.

Thanks Tonji.

Have these Olympics lived up to your expectations?

I have to say, that dark-haired young lady in the Curling Team - the one Tighty has the hots for - is quite the personality, & makes watching Curling very worthwhile.

No worries, we failed to punish them.

Oh yeah, loving watching athletes you rarely see on mainstream media showing all the passion & commitment to their sports.

What do the contestants in some of the more "odd" sports do the rest of the year?

Surely there is not a "Luge" or Bobsleigh circuit?

Are they "pure" amateurs, living the dream every 4 years?

Of those free bets (just in case anyone likes to pick and choose, they are all obviously very sound mathematically), I would put them in this order with most fancied 1st and the fourth not fancied at all and expected to drift.

 Aurore D'Estruval

 Many Clouds

Captain Chris (pretty neutral on this)

 Celestial Halo (have laid this)

On the 3.50...I have a massive view but I am worried about having more on now until we have seen if there is a non-runner. I had plenty of bets yesterday because I was getting bigger prices. Today I would say wait...but I do think a maximum is in order.
