In their play off semi finals Sheff Utd started each game with a five man midfield with a strategy to keep the games very tight. The results were 0-0 and 1-0.
They have 2 strikers available, Porter, who hasn't trained all week and Cresswell who has a problem with his eye and is carrying a shoulder injury.
I'm going to check the teams first but if United play a five man midfield (which I think is highly likely) I'm going to back under 2.5 goals at 4/5.
Not sure this will be viewed as "value" and I don't think its necessarily a bet for this thread but I like the bet given the way United will set up. Wilson is looking to nick the game 1-0.

Thanks Rick.
You say "not a thread bet", which is fine, until & unless you or someone puts it up, but I like the look of that.

If United play the 5 man midfield I think 5/6 is value (going back to Neil's point earlier today).
Edit - I'll check the teams later and post again.

Yo, yes semi final of The Voice tonight. Sorry for the delay but I've been in the wild west fighting some banditos, knew I shouldn't have gone into that saloon. No confirmation of song choice at the moment but just been on twitter and our horse is well rested and in good spirits. Holdddd.

Bresnan has finished off the Anderson best bowler bet.
Our eyes turn hopefully to Kemar Roach.

4 wickets for the splendid Bresnan, and so we did a lose.
And I said it was a match bet between Jimmy and Broad. I'm good, me.

Thanks Cooter.
I never noticed that you had been ore-occupied on other matters. Still not sure who the Sheriff in that town is. I'm AWOL, and staying that way, but God help me if I ever stick a staking thread up.....

I'm not sure what to make of this, but if true, it's absolutely terrible news.

Tighty has now Posted this......
Regular readers of Rich's blog may already know, but for those that aren't... unfortunately Rich (WarBwastard) passed away during the week.
Rich was active on blonde very recently, notably on "Tips for tikay" where his writing and humour shone through
He, being very poorly for a considerable time, had prepared for the occasion and the announcement is on his blog -
