Moving on, sorry Tikay.

Al Ferof is the latest Hills bet at 6/1.  As we have it already, I don't think we need more for thread, but may be of interest to others.

im assuming its a sure bet the hills mobile price boost every 15 minute malarky?

It is just a bit better than Betfair, so a bit marginal and as the thread is on already then I don't think we need more.  If you were thinking of betting it anyway, then you should get the 6/1.  And a marginal profit is still a profit long run.

Think we are arse about tit here

My initial post was

"Put a couple forward please? (other peoples stuff I notice)

Felix Yonger. On twitter tikay's mate Boycie quotes Mullins as saying "twice the horse on good ground than soft"

Broadway buffalo in the Pertemps e/w. edgascoigne who doesn't post enough or tip nearly enough was putting this up as his plot last night"

Plenty of information about where to find Broadway buffalo

Felix Yonger - the BE tip went up after this, or I saw it after this

Once I have seen this, then its a bit awkward (trying to do the right thing by Neil), which is the poitn doobs is making above

Yes, you may be right Rich ("arse about tit"), but even so, I'm not sure that "tikay's mate, boycey, on Twitter", or "Ed Posted something on twitter" is what Fred is about, that's my only point.

A Post today said.....

"I am on Eds fancy as well Broadway"

At the time, I had no idea what "Ed's fancy" meant, or even who/what/when "Broadway" was.

That's what I struggle with, no more, no less.

If I've misunderstood, or got it round my neck, I apologise, obviously.

I'd really like us all to enjoy Cheltenham Day three 3 now, & not squabble amogst ourselves.

Incidentally, I have Meetings this afternoon, so won't be around all afternoon, but I'll be on & off for urgent stuff, all being well.

Good luck to everyone, lets make a few bob.

That is the bit that seems to be the problem, sometime last week you were posting about people not posting much any more. There have been plenty of posts regarding subscribing to BE, Neil posted on here a few weeks ago about contacting him about getting an account with Sportingbet unrestricted if it is restricted as his mate now works there and he might be able to help out. A few days later Neil posts to say that the affiliate deal put to them by Sportingbet involves a kickback on punter losses. Sorry if pointing this out looks unfair but you can surely see how that looks Rich?

This was a punting thread and one of the busiest you have had and now it isn't. If you have an affiliate deal with BE and you don't feel comfortable with posting stuff in Cheltenham week then what incentive is there for other people to post?

13:30 Cheltenham, Paddys refund if 2nd to SP fav in most races at Cheltenham today, only not the 15:20 and the last race.

I don't get it sorry.

Been completely open that we have a BE affiliate deal that benefits blonde

the thread is still extremely busy

Perhaps you can contact me privately, as I don't see what the problem is.  I just didn't want to "spoil" Neil's tip this morning once  I had seen it

The Maths boys will need to answer that, Ray, but you've now given them all the ammo & info they need to reply correctly.

12/1 is better.  This is covered in the maths in betting thread.

You effectively get about 11.3/1 on the offer at a guess.

Ulul whoever is was that needed Katgary.

Think we need to be snapping up 10-1 Lewis Hamilton for SPOTY, as recced by someone earlier?

I don't really agree with this

think I prefer Rory at 16/1, four majors and a Glenegles ryder cup to go at

Rory is popular, and Lewis very marmite. Didn't win it in 2008 when he won an exciting championship, all on terrestial tv.....

Long time Lurker, first time poster (hate that its to do with SPOTY).

Lewis only lost it in 08 because the Sir Chris of Hoy got 3 golds in Beijing (first time for a Brit to get 3 Golds in 1 Olympics), looking at previous F1 contenders for SPOTY and you see that Button(09) lost out to Ryan Giggs when he had what most thought would be his last season in the prem league (and so a massive crowd favourite).  Before that then you have Lewis again in 07 when he came close but was pipped to the championship by the alcoholic Finn.  Going back further and we start talking about Hill, Mansell and Stewart, all of which won it.

Rory looked vulnerable the other week when massively clear and he clutched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Unless we win the World Cup, I don't see anyone else winning SPOTY this year.

Plus, I'm pretty sure I saw Lewis at 20/1 e/w 1,2,3 in the laddies shop today.

Welcome aboard Mr Long-Time Lurker, & thanks for  Posting. Nicely phrased Post, too, post more please.

We'd love to know a little bit more about you, mind - favourite Fred tipster, etc, (please don't say "Chompy"), & what your particular Sports & betting interests are.

Glad you said "hate that it is SPOTY", as I dislike the whole SPOTY thing completely, but we are going to get on Lewis (but see price notes, below) as you are a Fred Newbie, & we traditiionally like to welcome Newbies aboard.

In fact, I dislike both SPOTY & Lewis, marv......

The current market is here.....

http://www.oddschecker.com/awards/sports-personality-of-the-year/winner

Lewis is 9/1 best, a long way from the 20/1 you may have seen.

Is that too short?

Let me know, & if you are happy with 9/1, we'll have a little bet.

Incidentally, chompy made the same suggestion in the last 24 hours, (Mardyarse Lewis for SPOTY), but we rebuffed him, which is standard procedure.

I read this while I was away and assumed I had misread it. I like Neil, but I did find it strange that someone advertising a paid betting service was asking people to join a bookmaker via his affiliate link, where his kick back will be on any LOSERS you back.

Better people than me must have read it and raised an eyebrow, but maybe I am being naive or stupid, but just didn't sit well.

I sincerely hope that those have paid for the service are getting the lot and Sportingbet arent giving Neil a penny, other than winnings!!
