Tell him to stop, stop right now! The kitty will be empty by noon @ this rate, Tighty will go nuts when he gets back.

Hasn't Tighty got the 3 magic numbers now?  scared

Anyway, we can plot up in the Nugget sportsbook to rail this in June!

If it's a Heat Spurs final i might be forced to have a detour to the nugget myself for a week.  Wasn't planning on going this year but there isn't a better place to watch the NBA than the nugget sportsbook in vegas.

NBA MVP finals market

http://www.oddschecker.com/basketball/nba/nba-championship/finals-mvp

Given we are backing the Spurs at 7/2 to win the title the following market is also of interest as we can effectively back the only two Spurs players who can realistically win the MVP should the Spurs win the title. Duncan (9/1 - 10%) and Parker (11/1 - 8.2%).  These are combined 18.2% which is close to a 9/2 shot yet Spurs are close to a 3/1 shot to win the nba.  For the super nits out there who think Manu Ginobl (33/1 -coral) could win the MVP you could also add him into the coupled bet.  Not for me personally i prefer to go with the front 2.

Recommend £20 on both at ladbrokes.

Bizarrely, after I could have had £3,000 on that other bet, Laddies Restricted me to £10 on each of these two! Only Corals offer the same Market, but their prices are worse.

Anyway, we took both with Laddies, 2 x £10.

0000587 Single (To win) 1 £10.00  2013/2014 NBA Championship NBA Finals MVP  Tim Duncan (San Antonio Spurs)  9/1

Yup.

I'd bet any money that when they set that Market up, someone in the office clicked £100,000 instead of £10,000.

In other news before i get back to the day job of Saturday morning Dogs, Ronnie's match has just started on bbc 2 and he is already 1-0 up.  Not sure if we got on a 1st round whitewash at bf sportsbook at 9/1.  If we did obviously this is by far and away the best chance of this copping.  Kick on Ronnie!

Nice make it 2-0 in 30 minutes.  8 more to go.  Would be a nice start to the day and pay for the nba investments.

Big Adz style i know but just as ronnie was missing that red i was typing i think we should lay 10-0 in the ronnie correct score market he was getting done at some crazy prices on bf compared to the fixed odds firms in running.  Typical.

Morning, all.

Whitewash? Been one of them in crucible history: Parrott 10-0 Charlton in 1992. Hull isn't some random mug. He was a decent player ten years ago but fell ill and had to retire. Now the game has changed and there's more opportunities, he could be competitive.

Obv I'm with every other snooker fan and want Ronnie to go as far as possible, nevertheless!

Edit: sorry. This looks like rotten aftertiming. I have missed the post where 9/1 being value was explained, but wouldn't it normally be a situation where we take Ronnie's opponent against the handicap because everyone else is betting on The Rocket?

Bingham 3-0 up v Kendo on the other table.  We still have 15 more bullets to sweat on this.

Oh, this is for a whitewash in the tournament? Apologies. Seemed a really stingy price for just Ronnie's game!
