Mecedes circuit, long straights, sweeping corners, even the chicanes are fast

top speed for about 60% of the lap

Should be a mercedes 1-2, reliability allowing but of course thats all but priced in

suits the low downforce power heavy cars rather than the aero-dynamically efficient (red bull)

looking at other markets

http://www.oddschecker.com/motorsport/formula-one/canadian-grand-prix/top-6-finish

In seven races this season Hulkenberg (Force india -Merce power) has finished 6-5-5-6-10-6

Priced at 15/8 top 6 on a track that should suit the car package, for a very consistent driver

Prefer to Perez who i find unreliable as a betting proposition (results this year 10-DNF-3-9-9-DNF)

Boullier is saying Canada will see no step forward for McLaren, same arguments for Hulkenberg should apply to Bottas too (2/1), fundamentally very quick in this package

http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/2014/06/chances-to-shine-as-f1-teams-head-to-montreal/

"Battle will be resumed between the two Mercedes drivers, contesting the world title, but Ferrari has a major upgrade here and it will suit Force India, who could be podium contenders."

I managed a whole £7 and change. But I NEVER win on laddies, so I have in effect Tikay'd the bet.

you, huh?

are you going to put your 125-1 horse on here as compensation?!

It was in for £100 at 500/1 on an unrestricted account so i assume someone has had to have had £100 for it to suspend or a combination of bets up to £100.

Let the anti-Listen bet ride.

We didn't really get enough on to be messing around with it, plus there's the possibility we get through the Derby and Oaks, and he then saddles the top two or three in the Leger market.

That would mean we're ending up with a short-priced winner if we cover again and he doesn't win that race either.

Looking at next season, Diego Costa's Premier League goal tally set at Over/Under 15.5 & 8/1 to be top PL scorer @bet365 #cfc

Sure they are fine and well researched Rich.  Would take Hulkenberg over Perez every day of the week, though that shouldn't be a surprise.

Well, Force India should be in contention for the final podium spot this weekend so I would be very surprised if Nico finishes outside the top six (excluding unreliability or an incident of course). 15/8 is a decent price and there is value there. You can get the same bet on Perez for 11/4 which is much better value though. Nico does have more points so far this season, but actually the data suggests that Perez has been the quicker of the two drivers in races, whereas Nico is the better qualifier. Even if Sergio does start down the grid, it's not as if passing will be a problem in Canada so I might be tempted to take the Perez bet instead. Nico would be the safer bet because if he qualifies top six (which he should), he will almost certainly finish top six. Sergio will probably qualify mid-grid, but his bet does provide more value.

I need to have a think and do some research on upgrades teams are bringing to this race - but either Nico or Perez to finish top six is a good bet at those prices.

My instinct was I'd want to be a seller at that; considering a switch to a new league and all the stuff we know about that transition - combined with his step up in numbers last year.

However looking at his goals / min the improvement wasn't as drastic as I expected. Hot he'd at about 1/100mins last year against an average of 1/125 (which includes last years improvement - take that out and he was 1/137 min.  So even if we take the old ratio at 1/137, which should counter adjustment and say 75 min games  with a quick calculator at Paddington waiting for a train he needs to play 29 games from 38.  So, with some cost CL breaks - usual risks around injury I think it's an over bet; however I wouldn't play until seeing how he comes through World Cup more about fitness that's ability.

He's had a fair few injury problems I believe.

Last season might have been his first injury-free.

Commentator just claimed that Murray could be a favourite against Nadal if they meet in semi-finals. Wild.
