I like this so much have ccp'd frm another thread:

Liking Huntelaar for top scorer. 12 goals in 8 games in qualifying and at 18/1...whilst RVP (6 in 6) is 10/1. Huntelaar is a man with a point to prove and hasn't had the best of luck in the past and:

1. Top scorer in Bundesliga this season with 29 goals...so he is used to playing German opposition (and scoring).
2. Danes will be similar (easier) than the Germans for him to batter through.
3. Portugal??

Small problem with this Lee, we are already on a few, & I need to look at them all as a unit to ensure we are not killing our own value.

Views anyone?

Read this on BBC website today.......... not sure if there are any implications re: Huntelaar starting.

'The Netherlands, however, boast a raft of world-class forwards. But can Bert van Marwijk make the most of having Premier League top scorer Robin van Persie and the Bundesliga's leading hitman, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, at his disposal?
When he started with both, in their first warm-up friendly at home to Bulgaria, they lost 2-1. After that, Huntelaar was benched and they beat Slovakia 2-0 and then crushed Northern Ireland 6-0.'

I don't have a specific view on this bet but I wouldn't worry too much about betting too many in this market unless you are on, like, eight or something.  Enough of the market are horrible value to make dutching a few a decent strategy.  Btw as much as I like Frasers Caroll bet it does worry me greatly he went to Auschwitz yesterday as the received wisdom was that it was too big an emotional wrench for any players likely to play except for some reason Hart.

I have two bets today on the baseball

Number 1
san fransico to beat texas
I've choose this one mainly because of the pitcher, feldman is pitching for texas who is not one of there main rotation has only been playing due to the injury of felix:

Talken from the mlb site:
Feldman likely saw his last opportunity in the Rangers' starting rotation. The right-hander, who has filled in for injured starter Neftali Feliz, has lost each of his four starts, posting a bloated 8.80 ERA. Feldman is currently scheduled to face the Giants next in San Francisco on June 9, but it would be surprising if the Rangers didn't call on someone else for that start.
But no they are persisting with playing with him.

Our pitcher on the other hand has been in very good form:
The right-hander has now pitched at least seven innings seven times this season and at least six innings in all 10 starts. Vogelsong has allowed three earned runs or fewer in 11 straight starts at AT&T Park, dating back to Aug. 25, 2011. Monday's start was especially encouraging as the veteran hurler issued no free passes for the first time this season. Vogelsong is generally a solid play at home, but he will have his hands full next trip out when the Rangers come to town on June 9.

In terms of the hitter i would give texas the advantage, but i can see our pitcher restricting them to around three, and feldman should donate more runs than that to the cause.

So its 20/21 with sky bet maybe 42quid to make 40?

Number 2

Washington to beast boston red socks

Again this is due to the pitching

our pitcher gio gonzo:
Fresh off being named the NL Pitcher of the Month award for May, Gonzalez had one of the worse starts of his season as he recorded a season-low five strikeouts and couldn't make it out of the fifth inning. The 26-year-old Floridian is still striking out opponents at a rate of 11.40 per nine innings, which is spectacular, especially for a starter.

There pitcher:
Matsuzaka's return to the rotation will come one day short of his one-year anniversary of undergoing Tommy John ligament transfer surgery. "Yeah, he was in today -- says he feels fine," said manager Bobby Valentine. "Unless something changes, we'll try to activate him and try to pitch him on Saturday. Obviously we'll wait until that day comes around [to make it official]."

So there pitcher is making his first start in mlb for a year after the injury, so he will be restricted to around 5 to 6 inning

Where as our pitcher has comfortably pitcher 7 innings throughout the start of the season

In terms of the hitters, i would say boston has the better line up but washington are in better form:

Last 7 games boston
gonzalez      .269        with 1 home run
ortiz            .095        with 0 home runs
perdrioa       .063        with 0 home runs
Saltalamacchia, J        0.250      with 1 home run

Washington
harper        .346        with 2 home runs
zimmerman  .269       with 1 home run
espinosa      .273      with 0 home runs
laroche        .087       with 1 home run

So i suggest 10/11 with william him  i would have 110 on this but if the bankroll is tight maybe 55?

The BBC website has gone into severe decline since they lost most of their decent staff by moving oop north, whadda they think they are, internet kidz?

Van bommel is 10/1 to be booked 1st in the dutch game

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/internationals/euro-2012/netherlands-v-denmark/first-player-booking

A notoriously hard tackling competitor, he has his own wikianswers page "Has Van Bommel been booked yet?"

A banzai £10 for something different

Shame there's no each-way betting (I could find) on the jockeys' championship, as Buick would've been cracking valooo at 16-1. He's only a couple off the lead after five winners the past two days and he's obv got Gosden backing him in the autumn.

Ryan is odds on and should win but Buick ain't gonna be far away.

I think Carroll will start too but only because a long-ball game appears to be England's best tactical option.

Singheee.

Thanks, top man.

Will likely to both your bets a bit later, bit busy right now. What time do they start, please?

We WILL be on, unless anyone strongly argues against.

Love this bet. On Championship Manager back in the day this would be odds on!

Think we are up to date for the moment, aside from the two baseball ones, and the Andy Carroll jobbie, which I can sort tomorrow.

Am assuming nothing else for today's Euro12 5pm kickoff?

Really?

Allefay or whatever plays instead of him now and RVP moved up top as lone striker, like against N.Ire...
